My flea market life

Hello, I hope you are well this fine evening.

I have sold at the flea market, sales or festivals and car shows for over 30 years. For the passed almost year, I have taken time off.

I have been enjoying myself. I have had a blast spending time with some of you. Time I enjoyed very much. Time I would have spent at the flea market.

I went to the flea market this weekend to sell. I rolled in on saturday at 11:30. yes, that is the correct time. I normally show up at 10:30. So, according to my time, I am an hour late.

Vendors and customers, gave me smiles, hellos, hugs, and where have you been. Not only do I enjoy the friendships I have made with vendors and customers, I enjoy the high of the sale. It's the high I get from finding that item as cheaply as possible and making good money off of it. We call it the thrill of the hunt.

Today, one of my vendor friends had a heart attack. I was standing there at the moment, and got caught in the middle of it. Thank God she was alive and on the way out in an ambulance.

Life is short. I know that, an have been striving for continued happiness the passed couple of years. Today at the market brought it all home again.

Life is short, we should live it happily. As for me, and the flea market, I am going back next week, and as often as my job will allow.

I figure if you want to see me we, will figure it out.

 Very true sometimes it takes an event like that to make a person aware of what we have and what is important in life and what our values are. I had such an experience and now appreciate the little things in life and the people around me.

I had 3 major life events happen to me in the passed 3 years that all came to an end last year, as well as all the other stuff. I was walking on a cane with what I call a ganked up cerebal palsy walk, my mother was just starting chemo, and I started seeing someone I allowed my self to fall in love with.

I got this hip replaced, you could never tell today unless I told you, or you were my doctor. My mother passed away, and the guy I still care about left for reasons of his own. I got a new perspective on life a couple years ago. This incident was a wake up.............thegrls

wow, glad you are here yet. I have not had that in my life, but other heavy stuff the passed three years. Made me change my perspective. This just shook it up a lil bit. I have been getting complacent recently...................thegrls
