To Much Time To Think
Sometimes I get these flashes -
a memory floating through my mind,
when I think too much,
when I am trying to sleep
or have too much timeto think.
I get a picture here,
a sentence there,
a feeling that won't go away,
my heart travels to the attic in my mind
picking up things along the way.
I've often said I don't believe in regret....
but then there are times like these,
on one of my journeys into the past
when I wish I could forget what I see.
