Ever wonder??  Finding myself reflecting tonight....(OK....thinking too damn much about too damn much).... Two years ago, my life changed this week.... I gained something, and I lost someone.... What I gained changed my life. I discovered I had HSV....(NOT HIV...there is a difference)...It didn't matter when, where, or how....It changed the way I did many things.....it opened an amazing journey for me.....it probably kept me from being TOC.....(totally out of control)..... It didn't change ME; I'm still the same....probably even better....but it sure changed the way people perceived me....More than once I've been told to play with a "no ask no tell" mindset....No way.....just not me....But I do wonder; what might have been.... I believe in reaping what you sow; do unto others; what goes around comes around; and Karma is an ass kicking bitch...And everyone has the right to make an informed choice... Two years ago, I lost someone.....the same day.....not because of, but related to.....Karma was a bitch....for him.... And I'm still left wondering.......what might have been..... I know other's have their own "what might have been" moments..... Feel free to share, or just give a  if you know how I feel but don't wish to share....

My what might have been moment would be "Where would I be if I hadn't gone to that AOL chat room booty call with the woman who I eventually married?" I would have somewhere in the neighborhood of $100,000.00 more in my bank account which would be a positive. I wouldn't have my son though which would be a negative.

What goes around, comes around... that is why the world is round! I used to laugh when my younger sister said that! I am not laughing now! Lol I must have been a real bitch in a past life, and broken a lot of hearts to have deserved the punishment I have received in this lifetime! And to think I still have quite a bit of life to go? Damn!  Always do unto others as you would have done unto you because that karmic wheel just keeps on turning, and one day you just might find yourself on the other end of that wheel. And do be careful of those seeds you plant... as surely you will reap what you sow! Take it from the garden boy... he knows!  Thoughts from the Garden...

Seriously.....I can cut someone to shreds with a look and just the right (or wrong) words.....but I don't....I HATE to think I've wronged someone, caused grief or harm, or just hurt someone's feelings. I've always tried to live by the Golden Rule.... You reap WHAT you sow; MORE than you sow; LATER than you sow... I must have been a royal bitch in the past as well....as opposed to a peasant one now. Your writings are perhaps a penance?? I know they have touched many here..... May the rest of your life be filled with fulfilling love, peace, and contentment.....

Thank you Margot....So much I could say about this, but maybe some time later....For years, I thought I was "safe"; only because my yearly testing DIDN'T include HSV.....and because I had been totally monogamous....faithful.....one partner.... Happy Holidays to you....

That sadly seems to be a common story for a lot of women I know factorye and I applaud you for being open it lets you seperate they jackasses who know nothing and those who are educated about it all damn quick. Don't compromise yourself! You are all you've got!

Thanks AK....It is quite common; more so than many realize because it is not generally included when one asks for testing.....I got tested for years, ASSuming it was part of my annual checkup....It wasnt.....not even 10 years ago when I developed a common female infection....my first and only....after my husband had been unfaithful....for the second KNOWN time....and I had been completely faithful....him being my only partner ever...at that time.... Don't compromise yourself! You are all you've got!

Sadly I have been doing a lot of research on this subject. According to web md 1 in 5. But I know that suspect the number is even bigger than that. And the "vaccine" doesn't even cover all the strains that are out there. And even the tests arent that reliable. Funny; no one thinks too much of a cold sore....until it changes location...Same virus....different location...

I haven't said any thing about it in my profile,and i guess that may have been a mistake but Ill just deal with it later.My moment came when one of my buddy's yelled , grande, I thought i was super man and grabbed it and tried to toss it over a wall, didn't happen,it went off and that was my what if moment.so when people read my profile, they dont know about that, but i guess they do now,lol....the one person i did meet, made and excuse and promptly left never to be heard from again. But thats ok,O yeah, i am bi so i do have X2 chance of finding, or the same x2 losing someone also . i guess. Just Have the best life you can, and get all you can from it, like me .....Just try...and be happy God bless.
