    Bonjour Spunky
    ♥ Bisou ♥ Poton ♥ Annie ♥

    Hello Spunky
I like good and his drawings with lines and checkerboards are reminiscent Philippe Bertrand a comic strip artist.
I had not noticed that the bloggers were posting the first, they must be of the family of Lucky Luke (the cowboy who shoots faster than his shadow)
    ♥ Kiss ♥ Annie ♥

I've not come across Philippe Bertrand's cartoons but I'll look out for them now!

You're right graphic art has no soul. But I'm always amazed at art that I can't do ad I can't do graphic art! I don't know why it's called graphic art.

Do you like Malika Favre’s art? Sorry Spunky not much for her art by the way.. I think it is far too wild for me.
If so, what’s your favourite piece of her artwork? I like all kinds of art and really do not have one that I like as a favourite.
Why are bloggers posting the first comment to their blog posts? Maybe to get that post onto active list?

Did you see that the Royals are coming to Victoria BC..
I hope you'll throw a few eggs on the heads of the royals when they visit! You'll have a brillaint blog post to write about!

Ah, the wait for the photos to stick was worth it.

I don't know many artists by name. .. I do enjoy this style. Interesting use of shadows.
I too think Malika Favre's shadows are brillinat!

Yes, I like her bold and brassy style.
    #5 is my favourite.
Malika Favre's number 5 is brilliant. I can see Marilyn Monroe in her work!

I have never heard of that artist!
I don't think many people have heard of Malika Favre but her work, I think, is stunning. I just wanted to share.

To me, Malika Favre's art reminds of comic strips and I'm not a fan either of comic strips or computerized art, which lacks emotion, feeling.. it lacks soul. It looks like an empty but brightly painted container to me.
I like to see something made by a human using a pencil, a brush and a palette, or a chalk.... anything as long as it's made by a human.
Graphic art does lack soul, but I guess that's what it's trying to escape from.

The first picture of Malika Favre's work is brilliantly suggestive.
