I will watch some track and field events and maybe some swimming!
Swimming is this week and track and field is next week. A perfect schedule for you!

    1. Yes.
    2. All of them. For some reason I even find the weight lifting fascinating. Though I don't enjoy the 'sports' which are subjective, like gymnastics and diving.
I hope you're enjoying the Olympics. I've even got into dressage - dancing horses!

I'm pleased with my usual tardiness that I delayed replying to this blog post.
There are many stereotypes about Remainers and Brexiteers, some no doubt true-ish and many no doubt not true.
As a Remainer, I'm still in shock and want a re-run! I'm struggling to accept that this is what the majority of people treally want. But this is something I have to come to terms with!

My support for the European Union is all about class. I think the EU has supported workers rights, generally welcomed migrants, and promoted equality, dignity and solidarity amongst European people.
I think the working class can gain more inside than outside the EU. Business, with government, is just sharpening its knives to screw the workers post-Brexit!
I do not think everyone who voted Brexit is a racist or a nationalist!

I love watching the sports rarely televised. I'm enjoying the water polo particularly!

I'll be watching the athletics (mainly track). I don't know who's in the British team though as I'm not that big a fan
The track athletics are great - Mo Farah and Usain Bolt are brilliant to watch!

I've just come across the French judoka, Teddy Riner, who is so good that he doesn't bother entering most tournaments. It's all about the Olympics for him!

The reason Zika is a problem for men is that it gets transferred via sperm. So an infected golfer could inadvertently infect his pregnant partner. Indeed, as the virus remains in the body for some time, he could infect a future partner, who then becomes pregnant.

The other risk with Zika is that there are many regions that have Zika-capable mosquitoes but no Zika (most of SE Asia). A tourist from S Korea gets bitten in Brazil, gets infected with Zika (possibly without even knowing it) and goes back to Seoul. There they get bitten by another mosquito, which is now a Zika carrier... it's a real problem.

As is the sight of people fishing out turds from the untreated sewage pumped out into the sailing area ~^~

    But I will be watching!
I pity the open water swimmers having to swim in Rio's water!

How did I miss this post! I usually try to watch for yours.

Will you watch the Olympic Games in Rio? Will I watch in Rio? No, not into traveling at the moment.

If so, what sports will you watch? Oh you KNOW how much I LOVE sports, don't you!
There's still time to go to Rio and watch the Olympics!

Will you watch the Olympic Games in Rio? If I have time and TV happens to be on, I'd watch opening and closing ceremonies.

If so, what sports will you watch? I'm not a sports fan but if anything, I'd watch gymnastics.
I even got into the gymnastics this Olympics!

You must be mad Hugh! I wouldn't want to risk catching zika! Not that it would really matter much in my case, but who knows what other diseases those little vampires might be harboring! The do love me; they find me irresistible!
You're not likely to catch zika in a Brazilian winter so there's no excuses for not making that trip to the Copacabana beach. You may meet Barry Manilow!
