AND NOW ENGLAND ARE OUT OF EUROPE! 1. A photo-shoot:  England’s football team has just crashed out of the European Championships being played in France. Mighty Iceland, with a population of just over 300,000 people and no professional football league, beat England, with a population of over 53 million people and the richest professional league in the world. Perhaps it was karma for Thursday’s referendum result! With Britain leaving Europe and now England out of Europe, I' so pissed off (that’s pissed to my American friends) that I cannot compose a blog post. Instead I’m just going to post ten random favourite photographs in my collection just to prove I’m still alive and kicking! What’s your favourite photograph, and why? My favourite photo is Mount Roraimi because the cloud-wrapped mountain looks like a delicious cut of steak! I’ve never felt so down in my life. Even being dumped by a love of my life doesn’t compare to how I feel about Britain leaving Europe. I wake up each morning thinking it’s a bad dream only to realise it’s a living nightmare. It's all been rather depressing. I wasn't surprised at England losing the footie but the Brexit vote still has me totally in shock. The kingfisher is a lovely photo.  ~~Anais Nin~~

Hopefully the voters here will realize that there are no back-zies once a vote is cast. Maybe the football players were distracted. At least there is still beauty in the world.

The footie kinda pales into the background. Imagine the fucking effrontery, Cameron telling our Labour leader to 'Go, for heaven's sake man'?? This is what we've been led to. While I toyed with the idea of not supporting Engerland your Engerland the other night, I just couldn't bring myself to abaindon my second favourite team, yet, like the rest of England your England, they abandoned me. I did also toy with the idea afterwards that this was psychological, they wanted to lose........?? I'm still distraught. Have been reading some of the right wing spin on it too, wondering how we managed to disenfranchise so many decent hard working people to the point where they were/are so amenable to such utter bollox. We somehow need to reach out and reconnect, or rather disconnect the vile that the right wing populists are spreading. Oops, did I rant again?

It'll be 2 years and the approval of four other international institutions before the UK will be out..........so it's not like it's happening now......WITHOUT PASSION LIFE IS NOTHING

I reckon it may seem unlikely that I'd have any affection for the neo-liberal EU, commie rat that I am, but I think the English would have been better off to throw out Parliament than the EU. Good government begins at home. I'm not ashamed to admit that I can be motivated by self interest. When big government does something I like, I'm in favor of big government. When it does intrusive shit that favors wealthy corporations, I'm against it. Globalization is both good and bad. The old IWW Wobblies chanted "One big union!". They knew even back then that working people need to unite, but they never would have approved of excluding workers of other nations or faiths. When globalization is used to consolidate power in the hands of a few wealthy people- that ain't good for me or for any other working folks. I think the English are going to rue the day they cast this vote. They think they've thrown out the politicians who were fucking them. Instead, they've further empowered the liars and charlatans. Become a member now and get a free tote bag.

Well look at it this way... You can always rejoin after people have had a chance to see that it wasn't such a good idea. Maybe by then if other countries have decided they don't like the terms then maybe better terms can be worked out for everyone. Vive La Difference

Wales voted out and they are still in the footie... though they were smashed by the All Blacks while England beat the Aussies  All the women are very attractive. I have to go for the two girls - for the Lezza BJ potential

What’s your favourite photograph, and why? #3 Crooked forest is my fav. It reminds me of painting I saw long ago. Can't recall artist's name but remember the painting. Most people vote without analyzing pros and cons, they cast their votes based on superficial impressions. Sadly, they often comprise the majority.
