DAVID WILSON’S CHAIR

DAVID WILSON’S CHAIR  David Wilson was someone I went to boarding school with. He was in the year above me; these things were important then! At boarding school there were limits to how rebellious you could be without getting punished or even expelled. But David Wilson managed to be rebellious without being punished in one very cunning stunt. There were lots of rules at boarding school. You had to wear a uniform in the weekdays; there were lots of classes in the day, plus prep in the evening; you were woken up by the ringing of a bell in the early morning; there were lots of teachers and prefects around; you had to have two baths a week; there was compulsory sport; the school’s matron had to check that you washed properly every evening; there were set places to eat meals; lights went out in dormitories at a given time; and you weren’t allowed out without permission. At school there was an arts and debating society, which many of the older school pupils joined. This society held an annual arts evening with both pupils and teachers in attendance. David Wilson performed at one such arts evening. At the start of his act, there was a chair on the stage with a spotlight shining on it. After some time David Wilson, dressed in his school uniform, appeared on stage and stood behind the chair for quite some time. The audience were wondering what was going to happen because, up to this point, nothing was really happening. Suddenly David Wilson picked up the chair and then smashed it up on the stage. He then quickly left the stage. No one expected this act of vandalism done in the name of art. The shocked audience broke into much applause. The teachers even liked this act of rebellion. I was quite naughty at school. I was the first to be caned in my year; I was caned for carrying a pair of slippers. By the end of school, I was near the top of the caning league - what a badge of honour! I also got caned for saying pardon to a teacher telling us all to be silent, for farting in bed during lights-out, and for getting caught outside the school grounds without permission. My most rebellious act at school, inspired by David Wilson, was to recite The Lord’s Prayer at an arts evening. I recited the school's headmaster's name whenever God's name was mentioned in the prayer. I didn’t get as much applause as David Wilson did, and the headmaster certainly didn’t like my act of rebellion done in the name of art! How naughty were you at school? Were you ever caned at school? Bonsoir Spunky J'étais en pensionnat , il y avait un pion (surveillant) qui nous chantait " je te tiens par la barbichette " en caressant notre menton , et d'un coup nous giflait la joue . C'était juste après Mai 68 il restait encore des vieux cons dans les écoles ♥ Poton ♥ Bisou ♥ Annie ♥ Good evening Spunky I was in boarding school there was a pin (supervisor) who sang us " I got you by the goatee" stroking our chin, and suddenly we slapped cheek. How naughty were you at school? Well, I never went to boarding school. I was pretty poorly behaved, but our schools weren't as mean to students as yours was! We didn't have caning, but some male teachers had paddles. Girls were never paddled. That's probably why so many crave it in adulthood, sort of like penis envy!  (That oughta gain me some fans!)Were you ever caned at school? I don't even remember being paddled, but it might have happened. Male teachers didn't seem to like me very much, but I got on well with the women.  Whenever it was requested that I leave a classroom, it was always some man making the request.That's not me in the photo either. I have a better beard. Become a member now and get a free tote bag.

Never went to a boarding school. Most of the years we lived within walking distance of the school, so I walked. Drove the last two years which was convenient for leaving whenever. How naughty were you at school? Not really, I just wasn't there a whole lot the last couple years. I did graduate, no problems there, I just was bored at school and didn't need to be there to pass. I could just read the text book and get A's and B's so why sit there in a class if it was some teacher I didn't like. One teacher was sure I was cheating on the tests and had me come in by myself to do the test so that I couldn't get any help. I got an A. I generally got in the 90's if not a 100. I just didn't care to be told what to do. Asking me to do something was okay. Were you ever caned at school? Now that would have been an interesting scene if they had attempted to do that. I got spanked at home when my Dad was around, before the first grade, but never after that and never anything to do with school. It didn't really do much good then, I guess I can be stubborn. My Mother used to threaten with a leather strap about 2 feet long and 3/4 -1 inch wide about this time (1st-2nd grade). I saw where she put the strap and it mysteriously disappeared. How naughty were you at school? I was actually fairly good. In our school I ,had as many as 15 -20 male cousins attending, so it was well known, not to "F" with any of us. Bullying did not pay  Were you ever caned at school? No, but the school disciplinarian would not hesitate to slap the s**t out of malcontents

How naughty were you at school? I was always very good. Were you ever caned at school? There was no such thing in a civilized country! Well, they did have a paddle or a being smacked with a ruler on outstretched palms, but that never ever happened to me, not even once. I can't remember the boy's name, he was very naughty though. He had to stand in front of class with his arms outstretched palms up until they grew too tired to hold that position. Then he received several sharp smacks with a ruler over his palms before being released from his punishment. Wagenhurst, that was his last name, David might have been his first name. Plenty of boys got the paddle but that was done and over with quickly.
