THERE SEEMS TO BE A LITTLE BIT OF IRISH IN EVERYONE

Tomorrow is St Patrick’s Day. I don’t normally celebrate St Patrick’s Day, not least because there’s no Irish blood in me. My lineage is Anglo-Saxon.

Almost everyone seems to lay claim to having a bit of Irish in them. The Irish must have had lots of sex!

Except for snakes, almost everyone seems to like Ireland, whether it’s the people, heritage, music, history, literature or culture. St Patrick’s Day is widely celebrated; Irish bars are everywhere; and Ireland often wins the Eurovision Song Contest.

I’ve only visited Ireland once when I spent a weekend in Dublin, though I have visited Northern Ireland several times.

Dublin didn’t leave much of a mark on me, though I noticed that a pint of Guinness, an Irish stout beer, tasted much, much better there than it does here in the so-called mainland. Here I find the taste of Guinness a little tinny, but over in Ireland it was very drinkable.

Will you be celebrating St Patrick’s Day?
Do you have any Irish in you?
What’s your lineage?

There’s an urban myth concerning Guinness which reveals the secret why it tastes best in Ireland. In the late eighteenth century when Guinness was first brewed, Arthur Guinness advised barmen of the pubs of Dublin to serve a pint of Guinness with a head of their frothy cum. Fancy a Guinness?!

I've never been a Guinness drinker!

Will you be celebrating St Patrick’s Day?
Not so much. My wife has a bunch of Irish ancestors, so I'll celebrate her.

Do you have any Irish in you?
There's a bit, but I've got DNA matches all over the British Isles. All my DNA test revealed is that I have a male ancestor who fucked anything that would hold still long enough to get his dick in it.

What’s your lineage?
On my father's side, just like you- mostly Anglo-Saxon. My mom's family is Italian- Piedmontese.

Everyone like the Irish because everyone likes to drink!

Will you be celebrating St Patrick’s Day? - probably not, not specifically anyway.

Do you have any Irish in you? - Yes, but the northern variety.

What’s your lineage? - A true UK mutt, ¼ English, ¼ Welsh, ¼ Irish, and ¼ Scottish.

Yes I'll be celebrating St. Patrick's Day....it would be hard not to living in Ireland!!!

I have had a few Irish in me but none at the moment!!!

My lineage....Scots...as far back as I can trace.

There is an art to pulling a good pint of Guinness with the creamy head and it has nothing to do with the barman's cum!!!

I do like that Extra Stout Guinness, but it usually comes in weird sized bottles or cans with these plastic balls in them, so I don't buy it much.

Saint Patrick is not a hero to everyone. I have run across a few people who loathe the day, because of what he and other Catholics did to the native Irish.

I won't be celebrating the day, per se. But I will wear green so I don't get pinched!
There are big all day celebrations in Omaha, including free taxi rides. I'm hoping for a great day/evening at work.

I have some Irish ancestry, but I am a mutt. Mostly from all over Europe.

Will you be celebrating St Patrick’s Day? Just wear something green is about all I do.

Do you have any Irish in you? Yes

What’s your lineage? Grandmother on my Mothers side was a wee little leprechaun, and all Irish. My Grandfather on my Mothers side was a German through and through. On my Fathers side all French. But who knows what you would find if you went looking way back. Europe has been a mixing bowl for longer than the United States has been.

It isn't a big event here in Singapore. The pubs will celebrate (of course) and maybe a couple of restaurants but otherwise, it comes and goes without much fanfare. No pinching either!

I'm ethnically Chinese with some Peranakan blood, although I can pass of as a local whenever I visit most South East Asian countries.

The history of Ireland is not a pretty history. The repercussions of Cromwell's incursions into Ireland are still being felt now!

An Irish, German and French ancestry is brilliant, far better than boring Anglo-Saxon!
