TWO MEN IN A BOAT  Two American 71 year-old men, Bob Weise and Steve Shapiro, are about to set sail to cross the Atlantic in their 40-foot sailing boat, Nora. In July they set sail from Norway but, having now reached Cornwall in England, they have already been rescued nine times. Their sailing adventure has troubled the maritime rescue services in Norway, Denmark, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Ireland and England. Their latest rescue attempt occurred when their boat caught fire caused by a a candle left burning while they were went shopping on shore. The two hapless men have also needed to be rescued after running aground, experiencing engine problems, having battery problems, damaging the boat’s propeller shaft, and one of them slipping over on deck! The two men are still hoping to reach Maine in July this year. "We're having great fun. Everywhere we go the people are welcoming", said Bob Weise, "seamen are always helpful, even if they think you are crazy and don't know how to sail." Steve Shapiro added, "It has nothing to do with seamanship. It's totally the mechanics of the boat" and that the boat "is very resilient and it rides well and can travel at high speed." While in Britain the two men have been described as a "catastrophe waiting to happen" and have been urged to "leave UK waters". However, the two men are unrepentant. While acknowledging that "people had a right to be angry", Steve Shapiro argued "we have the right to the services as much as anybody else." Should Bob Weise and Steve Shapiro set sail to America? Should they expect to be rescued at no cost to themselves? Given that they know the questionable condition of the boat no. Have you ever had sex on a boat? Should Bob Weise and Steve Shapiro set sail to America? From what I have read about them, and an interview of them, they act dirt stupid and showed no clue of what to do. I say revoke their right to sail due to apparent unsafe vessel conditions Should they expect to be rescued at no cost to themselves? At this point no. Should they expect to be rescued at no cost to themselves? We bailed out the banks, didn't we? They don't accept any blame either. Have you ever had sex on a boat? Hmmm, I'm guessing you don't have to have a license to pilot a boat  Maybe they will be the cause of a change in that situation. Maybe it would be better if their boat got high jacked by a friendly pirate that knew how to sail. Vive La Difference

While I do think they should have been rescued, maybe they should also be sent a bill. Should they set sail for Maine? ... I have nothing against crazy people, but are they stupid? Who are they expecting to rescue them in the middle of the Atlantic? ... Well, I suppose there are more boats out there these days. .. Still seems like a death wish to me. I've never had sex on a boat.

I think, they need to be detained for reckless endangerment of the boat and their own lives. Should they expect to be rescued at no cost to themselves? First time - yes. All subsequent times they should pay the bill plus a substantial fine. Have you ever had sex on a boat? Yes, a few times, on a cruise. Should Bob Weise and Steve Shapiro set sail to America? sure why not....it's there life. It looks they have a death wish. Should they expect to be rescued at no cost to themselves? I think if the fault is theirs then they should pay...negligence is their fault. But, an honest emergency then no. Have you ever had sex on a boat?
