CANDY LOVING

CANDY LOVING  Candy doesn’t mean a lot to me, but below are all the candies I’ve ever heard of. British people don’t use the word candy to describe confectionery; they say sweets! I like most sweets, especially peanut M&M’s. My problem with a bag of M&M’s is that I tear open but I don’t share round! Here we have candy floss, often called cotton candy elsewhere. I don’t really like candy floss - it’s too sweet and sticky - though occasionally I will buy some candy floss just to experience the tackiness of seaside resorts I sometimes visit. Candy-O was the name of an album released by the American band, The Cars. I never quite understood why The Cars was labelled a punk/new wave band, though I did like My Best Friend’s Girl. Eye Candy is an American television series starring Victoria Justice; as far as I’m aware, it’s never been aired here yet. John Candy was a brilliant Canadian actor; Cool Runnings is one of my favourite films. The Ministry of Sounds’ Hed Kandi is a record label that puts out themed compilations of dance music. Its record/CD covers always feature a cartoon version of a glamorous woman. Candi Staton is an American soul and gospel singer. Her 1976 single, Young Hearts Run Free, is a classic; it’s almost disco! She also had hits with Stand by Your Man and Nights on Broadway. Candy Loving is an American model, who featured in the January 1979 issue of Playboy. I do like 1970s porn! What’s your most and least favourite candy? I'm a big fan of the Peanut M&M's myself... I usually buy them in the large bag (about 3 lb) and keep them in my vehicle for snacking on when I'm traveling from job to job. Next would be the regular M&M's then Junior Mints. Least favorite... Probably those Valentine hearts you have in you first picture. Vive La Difference

My favourite has to be the Purple one...from Quality Street of course. My least favourite...would be those bitter things that kids buy...like cola bottles. Yuck!!!  ~~Anais Nin~~

Happy HNW! Candy. Meh. I like chocolates but don't really consider them candy. I like sweet tarts. I like another type of sour candies called "nerdz". I'm not participating this week. I liked seeing the Cars album cover. That was a good one.
