THE SECRET LIFE OF WALTER MITTY  I’m occasionally accused of sometimes being a Walter Mitty, the central character in James Thurber’s 1939 book. A Walter Mitty, according to The American Heritage Dictionary of the English Language, is “an ordinary, often ineffectual person who indulges in fantastic daydreams of personal triumphs”. I do enjoy a flight of fancy and even a flight of fantasy. I was going to post about how I was propositioned to have sex with five women as I was being massaged this morning! But I think I’ll save revealing that secret for another day. Instead, I want to share five photos of me. Below are five snapshots that have been taken of me over the years. As well as turning down sex with five women today, I’ve also instructed my lawyer to send writs to five men to stop them impersonating me! If you see the five copycats - Hugh Grant, David Beckham, Clarence Seedorf, George Clooney and Jose Mourinho, I hope you’ll ask them to refrain from looking like me rather than complementing them on their dashing good looks! That list of men can be explained by me having being likened to Hugh Grant and having salt-and-pepper hair like George Clooney and Jose Moirinho. David Beckham does very little to me, but I put his photo up because he seems to cross bounndaries from gay to heterosexual. Clarence Seedorf - a top footballer, articulate and good looking - does it for me! There's my heterosexual explanation.
