THE MOST NOTABLE ORDER OF THE GARTER BELT   The Most Noble Order of the Garter is the oldest and highest order of chivalry in the United Kingdom. Founded in 1348, the Order consists of the monarch and 25 knights, give-or-take. Only the monarch can confer membership to this exclusive Order. The monarch can also degrade members who have committed very serious crimes, such as treason, fleeing the battlefield or taking up arms against the sovereign. Membership of the Most Notable Order of the Garter is highly restricted. One can only join this Order if one of the 25 knights has died or has been degraded! The Order’s emblem is a blue garter with the motto 'Honi soit qui mal y pense', which roughly translates to 'Shame on him who thinks evil of it'. The origins of this symbol of the Most Noble Order of the Garter aren’t known, but evidence points to it being the world's first fetish club! In June, there is an annual Garter Day, where members of the Order parade around in their garters in front of the Queen. I think it’s grossly unfair that the Queen and her gartered cronies can only belong to this club. I’ve now established the Most Notable Order of the Garter Belt for those who appreciate garter belts. Membership is free, though at the investiture ceremony members will be required to swear an oath of undying allegiance to me. The only rule of this Order is that members are expected to attend an annual Garter Ball, where garter belts are worn or, if not worn, acquired from gartered members during the increasingly unchivalrous proceedings. Despite being a fiddle to get off, I love suspenders. But I’m not sure why I like them. I think it may have something to do with contrast of colours between the garter belt and skin. Or maybe suspenders are like a picture-frame through which the 'picture' can be better viewed! For some reason, garter belts are more popularly known as suspender belts or suspenders in the UK. Ice hockey players wear garter belts.       |

It is what most men enjoy seeing and playing with a woman that has them on seems to be what most want. I am guessing that because at one time they were part of the undies that ladies wore and were the unmentionable as were corsets. They have never gone out of style altho the styles have changed to be more for visually appealing and no longer for a needed undergarment. I am also guessing that men enjoyed the challenge of removing those items to get at what they most desired and still do enjoy the challenge. It is their nature. It is all part of the allure.

Have you ever worn a garter belt? Or sat down upon the metal fasteners, if it were men who had to wears such things the allure would quickly vanish. Oh sorry, that wasn't very nice, was it?
