The bride’s father, Michael Freeman, got all his three daughters to sign a covenant that they’d abstain from sex until they got married. The Swedish photographer David Magnusson specialises in taking photographs of fathers and daughters taking part in purity balls - see below. To their fathers, daughters have to pledge their virginity until marriage. What about the sons, and what about the mothers?! Purity balls are becoming increasingly popular in America, though they mainly take place in Christian and conservative areas. I wonder whether purity balls will spread to the UK just like Halloween parties and prom balls have spread here.   No to all 3 Questions, this is one the most ridiculess things to come out of the US for years. The number of teenage pregnancies is still rising though ,One always talks of 'Losing' ones virginity. I didn't lose mine, I gave it away freely and so did she  as I suppose lots of us do.
