HOLY SOCKS  Just over nine weeks until Christmas! Tonight I’m going to do my most important Xmas errand - write my present list. I want my Christmas sock to be full of presents that I want on Christmas morning. One advantage of issuing my present list early is that by Christmas Day I forget what I listed and so opening my presents is still a surprise! Do you issue a present list for Xmas, birthdays etc? I’m very attached to my collection of socks, so attached that I’m reluctant to throw away old pairs of socks. I will only throw away a pair of socks if there’s a hole visible when wearing them with a pair of shoes on. I won’t throw socks away if just threadbare or if the hole isn’t visible to the watching public. My girlfriend thinks I’m a ! When do you throw away a pair of socks? Do you ever darn holey socks? My Mum used to darn any holes in my socks, but it seems the days of darning have long since gone!     |

Do you issue a present list for Xmas, birthdays etc? I don't make a list, anything is a delight When do you throw away a pair of socks? Over the years in the military, I became a foot care maniac. Any damage or visible wearing on a sock and it is trash bound Do you ever darn holey socks? Never, only brand new to replace damaged ones

Yes, I do have to make a Christmas list. Yes, I do throw away holey socks. I've got a drawer full! I can now click on the picks without opening a new tag which is something i guess?

Do you issue a present list for Xmas, birthdays etc? No. PD and I know each other pretty well. We ask each other if there's anything special we might like, but that's about it. When do you throw away a pair of socks? When they can't be fixed anymore. I buy expensive socks, so I don't wear out very many. Do you ever darn holey socks? You betcha.  Right after they've been blessed.Become a member now and get a free tote bag.

Never make a wish list, my family are good at knowing what I want .)) As to the socks at least once a year I open my sock drawer only to find a couple of pairs there, that means my wanton _ wench has thrown them all away and therefor forces me to buy new ones
