POTTING THE PINK  Potting the pink is a term derived from snooker where a snooker player pots the pink ball into a pocket. My grandfather lived in a house that had a snooker room. After dinner, we would often retire to the snooker room to play snooker or billiards. I was never much good at snooker - the table was too big. I rarely potted the pink! I’m much better playing pool - the table is smaller and a smash shot often pockets a ball or two, sometimes the wrong ball! I’m no pool shark à la Paul Newman. I tend to play quite defensively. I’m probably too concerned about leaving an easy shot for my opponent than potting the balls to win the game. Potting the pink also means a man having vaginal sex with a woman. I’ve potted pink. Potting the brown means anal sex. I’ve also potted brown! I think I may be better at potting well away from the snooker table! Have you ever played snooker or billiards? Have you ever played snooker or billiards? Yep! I got introduced to snooker when I lived in Toronto. I didn't like it as much as pool, which is much more common where I live. You sound as if you could give Paul Newman a good game at pool! Paul Newman is a ‘hero’ of mine, not only for his acting but also for his philanthropy and, where we had a common love, auto racing. He could have easily been a great driver. I would have loved to have met him on the track or at the pool table or both. When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro.
