"I WOULD RATHER HAVE A CUP OF TEA THAN SEX"  The British Standards Institution has published a six-page guide on how to make the perfect cup of tea. The ISO 3103 standard stipulates five steps to make the perfect cuppa: 1. the teapot should be made from white porcelain or glazed earthenware 2. tealeaves should be weighed - two grams of loose leaf tea per 100ml of water 3. freshly boiled water should be poured 4 to 6mm of the teapot’s brim 4. tea should be left to brew for six minutes 5. milk should be poured into the teacup before adding the tea The last bit of advice is very controversial. Many people pour milk after the tea has been poured because only then can the tea-drinker know how much milk to put in the cup. However, the British Standards Institution advises milk to be poured first "to avoid scalding the milk". "I would rather have a cup of tea than sex", so said Boy George. Is he mad!? The only thing better than sex is the first mug of coffee in the morning. Americans are starting to drink far more tea. America now imports more tea than Britain, though the British still drink more tea per head than the Americans. I have two cups of coffee each morning... I have tea when I get a cold.......... I would give up a days coffee for a day of sex!

Very strong black coffee for me. I prefer instant because it's easier to get the strength I like. Several cups a day... If I have tea it's a proper builder's tea - strong and sweet, just like me

I know you did not ask but Being Mexican American, I like chocolate (bitter cocoa), cinnamon, sugar and cream in my coffee. My tea would be jasmine and unsweetened or milk. I don't have any fancy coffee machines. I have it all in jars and I'm like you, in that I just throw a tea-bag in my cup. I do have a tea-pot but it doesn't get used very often unless I have company when it won't be preferred to sex.

I get teed off when milk appears in my coffee. It must be black and bitter or it is no good to me. I drink tea at night with a bit of lemon sometimes, but never, nevER, NEVER put cream or sugar in it.

I like my tea with milk and sugar or sweet tea (iced) Would you sooner have a cup of tea than sex? No never, maybe a cuppa after or tea for two before. In the UK twinnings has more and different flavors than we do. I often bring some home with me. You know another difference between us, you have a choice of black or white coffee, our choice is black or coffee with cream. I'd never heard anyone say white coffee until I was at a hotel in London. I'd never seen a French press either and didn't really know what to do with it. As you know, coffee is mainly served with milk not cream here.

I've heard that too; boliing water for tee and just-boiling water for coffee. My kettle is too dumb to make these different types of boiling water!
