While living in London, I went to see Jayne County and the Electric Chairs just to see their performance of their Fuck Off song that opens with the classic line, "If you don't wanna fuck me baby, baby fuck off". Some people in the audience, probably not Jayne County fans, started heckling her. She then threw chairs at the baying audience. A mass fight ensued. It was great, not least because I wasn’t involved in the fight! One of my favourite bands, Alabama 3, often play while drunk and stoned on stage. Also, Iggy Pop is always good to see live as he whips the audience into an unruly frenzy.          |

Who was or is the baddest person in the history of rock music? Tough question, and entirely subjective! But Jerry Lee lewis was no slouch! He shocked hell of of you Limeys! Why are there no bad boys or girls of disco? Disco itself was bad enough. Have you ever seen someone behaving badly while playing live on stage? Not really. I used to love Rod Stewart's voice, but I worked a show for Rod Stewart once in Tempe, Arizona and I was so put off by his entourage and security, and his boring performance that it took some of the bloom off that rose. The highlight of the show was when he lost his ballet slipper and had to stop singing and prancing to slip it back on. Yawn. Become a member now and get a free tote bag.

Oh I just love the whole ;!; attitude of Rock and Roll. Alas, it really, truly, undeniably is dead. The anecdote about Pete Townshend 's porn habits is revolting, fame and $ shouldn't place anybody above the rest. Smashing stuff when you can afford it...dunno, seems almost like a rite of passage, scripted. I guess sometimes it's not, scripted, but I generally don't like violence, except in sports where it's regulated, totally different. Look at what happened to Marie Trintignant. I watched her dad's films my whole life, an icon. Horrible stuff can happen when "bad boys" or even Peaceniks like John Lennon are revered, adored, given carte blanche to act like ASSES. Lennon wrote "All you Need is Love" yet was a wife beating egomaniac antisemite. Fame....turns most of these guys into very unlikable people. I just don't know how I feel about it. I guess I like unconventional everyday Joes who live their Rock 'n Roll lives more than the annoying celebrities laughing all the way to the bank/their personal trainer/yoga guru/meditation coach, lol .

I haven't a clue, just wanted to say hiya! Um, the worst thing I saw someone do was when Huey Lewis spit on the stage. It was Summer, it was Virginia, lots of flying insects and well I think he may have nearly swallowed one. Oh and Raquel Welch, she has a terrible foul mouth and a bad temper. We saw her show in 1985 at the Sands Casino in Atlantic City someone messed up her opening number. She came out singing and they didn't cue up her music. She started screaming bloody blue murder, "who's the fucking idiot ... " I don't remember much of her rant, except for liberal use of the f word. I felt sorry for the poor guy who fucked up.
