JOIN THE CULT  I’m pimping! The esteemed cult leader humorlife has been diligently organising a series of monthly virtual symposia in blogland. Each month a topic is chosen by a vote that's scrupulously overseen, scrutinised and verified by the esteemed cult leader. After this vote, cult members blog something on this theme on a Sunday morning to be reported on the esteemed cult leader’s blog. There is a virtual symposium being voted on right now - please see The Virtual Symposium Returns Lets Pick A Topic to vote. If you are unsure how to vote this month, may I suggest you vote for 'Sexuality and Religion' just to see how lapsed Catholics blog about sex! On a serious note, this virtual symposium is a great way to come across bloggers perhaps you wouldn’t normally come across. It brings bloggers together. Blogland, from where I’m standing, has gone really quiet, almost eerily quiet. It was only a few months ago I was complaining about too much activity in blogland. Now I see far more white than yellow! Blogland needs a boost. There’s also Half Nekkid Wednesday (HNW) that brings bloggers together every Wednesday - see HNW Bloggers. HNW is generally more about images whereas the virtual symposium is more about words. That’s obvious because HNW can’t even spell out its acronym properly! With the cult, sorry virtual symposium, after serving an apprentice, you will be given an orange jumpsuit to wear with pride and asked to be relieved of a proportion of your annual earnings to the cult leader! My life is now complete since joining this cult. I now know what to do on my Sunday mornings, how to spend my money and what to wear. I humbly ask you to join! I promise you that this is not like your normal cult where cult members sacrifice their lives in service of the cult leader. This is the real thing! Do you ever in your blog? How are you finding blogland now compared to a few months ago? Will you join, or have you joined, the cult? I realise that there are existing cult members reading this post. I feel very privileged to be part of the cult with you wonderful members, though I feel slightly cheap because I only offered 10 per cent rather than the normal 25 per cent of my earnings to join. I used to pimp other bloggers a lot but I rarely do it now....mainly because the last couple of bloggers I pimped....who were really good....upped and left the site soon after. I don't want to jinx anyone else.  I find Blogland really dead just now and very few new bloggers coming through with anything that appeals to me. Most of the funny pics that are posted have already done the rounds on FB....Much of the writing seems to be along the lines of "can't get laid"...."is anyone real?" and complaints about messages and trolls. I've never taken part in the symposium....depending on the choice I might this time. Living in Ireland...sex and religion would be an easy topic for me. I actually knew a man who said that he had only known "Catholic Sex" while he was married!!! ~~Anais Nin~~

I have pimped, but rarely! I did a symposium blog last month for the first time...... I think blogland is quiet because of the time of year......people busy with summertime ......I could be wrong! It seems I'm "always" wrong here in my real life!!

1 - Happened and happens. I've been thinking about telling french people they might improve their english reading the Sexy Times when I Hit it but I forgot afterwards ... anyway I'm quite unsure it would be efficient. 2 - Oh well ... my english's improving, french blogland stays desperately poor and dumb. 3 - A cult ??? WTF is that ? A try to get people vote for "sex and religion" as you did, right ? Well ... without me !!! I don't want your orange gown with a gallon of gas to ignite myself while leaving my money to a guru, no way !!! But I did join the symposium twice and will again, according it doesn't concern any kind of sacrifice, you lunatic !
