SEX CLUBBING Liberty Elite, Leicestershire:  La Chambre, Sheffield:  The Lodge, Gloucester:  There are sex clubs, sometimes called swinger clubs or lifestyle clubs, in most cities in America and Europe. There are no sex clubs in my city, Nottingham, because the local authority has a no-sex club policy in the city. The nearest club is about 20 miles away. Over the years I’ve been to several sex clubs. To be precise, I’ve been to six different sex clubs - Liberty Elite near Lutterworth in Leicestershire, Chameleons in Darlaston in the West Midlands, The Lodge in Gloucester, Jeux de Main in Cap d’Agde in France, Fata-Morgana in Muiden near Amsterdam, and a club I can’t remember the name of in Wakefield in Yorkshire. In my limited experience, the biggest misconception about sex clubs is that you’ll have sex in that club. It all depends on who you go with, who you meet and, most important, what you want. Sex clubs are great; they’re clubs where you may have sex in and they’re safe in that no one forces you to have sex or even forces you to take all your clothes off. Most clubs have different rooms - a bar area and several play areas, some more public and some more private. Most clubs provide changing rooms and lockers where you can safely keep your stuff in. Some clubs have a dress code; some clubs require membership; and some clubs provide free buffet food. A few clubs even have bedrooms to stay overnight. Many clubs have themed nights - couples only, greedy girl/gangbang, fancy dress, bisexual, bdsm, etc. There are always more men than women, and most people who go to clubs are middle-aged. The best club I’ve been to is Fata-Morgana near Amsterdam. The facilities are fantastic; you can even have a sit-down meal, dance to disco music and relax in a swimming pool. Everyone was very friendly. The worst club I’ve been to was one in Wakefield, not because of its facilities but because there was hardly anyone there. In fact, there was just me and my partner, plus a small group of men being disciplined by a woman. As a consolation, the club gave us free drinks. My worst experience at a club was at Liberty Elite, where I’ve been many times. While walking with my then partner into the communal jacuzzi play area, there were loads of single men staring at my partner. Many single men at clubs - many of whom are probably attached - often see a man with a woman partner as the enemy! Most are polite but a few are rude. The funniest experience was at Chameleons, which is next door to a police station! Have you been to a sex club? Several. The best that I have been to was in Philadelphia . Rather good class. The nearest club to me, Liberty Elite, charges about £25 per couple for membership and then £25 for each visit. I think single men pay more.
