OL' BLUE EYES   In my humble opinion, my blue eyes are my best bodily feature. I say this because my eyes have probably received the most compliments from people, though closely followed by my hair. Given I have blue eyes, both my parents had blue eyes as the gene for blue eyes is recessive and the gene for brown eyes is dominant. But despite being a recessive gene, blue is now the most common colour for eyes in Britain. The Blue Eyes Project recently found that 48 per cent of British people have blue eyes, 30 per cent green and 22 per cent brown. In the distant past, almost everyone had brown eyes. The Danish geneticist Hans Eiberg found that blue eyes probably originated from a genetic mutation in a man who lived 10,000 years ago in the Baltic region. Since then, blue eyes are on the march. Hans Eiberg argued that blue eyes "are more attractive to potential partners than brown" and "are seen as powerful". Alistair Moffat, the managing director of ScotlandsDNA, suggested: "It may be that blue eyes are like the peacock’s tail. It doesn’t confer any evolutionary advantage for the peacock except that it gets him more mates." There are now 200 million blue-eyed people in the world; world domination is near! I have green eyes. I like them, so no, I would not change the color. Both my parents have blue eyes. My children all have different color eyes. My oldest has brown, the 16 yr old has gray, the 14 yr old has green and the baby has blue. My best feature...depends on who you ask. Most would say my boobs. I say my brain.

I like blue eyes very much, but the ones that really catch my attention are black or very dark brown - mine are my worst traitors ....brown hazel base variable to green (depending on the weather or mood  )P.S. Would you ever consider changing the colour of your eyes? nope, but I would like to change the shape, I was working on a similar post, I am gonna write it anyways, I have bedroom eyes (hooded), the kind Renée Zellweger had changed. The rarest eye color of all is green, then hazel and then blue. Hazel eyes are mainly a trait of people of European descent.
