HARRISON FORD'S FUNERAL PLANS BROUGHT FORWARD

After Harrison Ford’s recent dice with death with his plane’s emergency landing on a Californian golf course, plans for his funeral have been brought forward.

Today a dress rehearsal for Harrison Ford’s funeral took place in Cardiff. An unsuspecting grieving family received a visit from the Star Wars’ Stormtroopers to re-enact Harrison Ford’s funeral - see below.

The coffin of Gordon Deacon, a diehard Star Wars fan, was escorted from his resting place to his grave by a team of Stormtroopers.

Are you looking forward to the new Star Wars film?
Have you made any funeral plans?
What music would you like played at your funeral?

I’ve made plans for my funeral but I haven’t told anyone, which, unless I do, means it won’t happen. But now I’m telling people.

I want a green, atheist funeral involving no god (eg no church), little energy (eg no cremation) and little land (eg no grave). Being buried in a biodegradable bag or cardboard coffin, with a copper beech tree planted over (and feeding on) me, will do for my funeral!

And I want Joy Division’s Atmosphere, The Cure’s Love Cats and Primal Scream’s Movin’ On Up to be played!

And I want a big drunken debauched party, which you are all invited. I hope you will all come; my estate will pick up the bill for the party and your expenses!

May the Force be with you!

I doubt I'll see the new Star Wars film. I've lost interest now.

My children know I want to be cremated and NO church service.

As for music...."The things you are to me" by Elaine Paige and for the end??? "The Bare Necessities" from the Jungle Book. So the grandkids will laugh at the memory of me dancing to it.

I do like the idea of the pods I have been reading about. To feed a tree. That would be awesome. I would want to be a Live Oak tree. They are wild and majestic. As for the party after...I like your choice in music. My only wish, though I do not know how it would ever be accomplished, is that all my lovers be there and think, "That was one hell of a woman."
No religion, no sadness, just a party.

There has been a big time lag between the Star Wars films. And you wonder whether it's enough for the old fans and enough to get new fans!

Il Divo are brilliant, especially at popularising opera.

Wow, how cool to have stormtroopers attend one's funeral... I always found them rather sexy.

Am I looking forward to the new Star Wars film? This is the first I've heard that another was planned. I will probably wait to see the tv promos before deciding whether to be interested or not.

I have made literally no funeral plans.

As stated in a previous post on the topic, I would definitely have The Orchestral Theme From Temptation by Heaven 17, Did My Time by Korn, Don't Cry by Guns 'n' Roses played at my funeral. I would like my remains to be atomised but we don't yet have that option, failing that, being buried vertically to allow for more space in the cemetary for those not wishing to be incinerated. I would like to go down in a wedding dress.
I'd love to have stormtroopers at my funeral.
Do you have a wedding dress in mind to go down in?

FIRST OF ALL, DON'T YOU EVER, EVER DO THIS AGAIN. I HAVE NOT BEEN WATCHING TV AND THIS WASN'T VERY NICE, GAVE ME A FRIGHT.

I kinda like Harrison Ford and don't wish him any harm.

Are you looking forward to the new Star Wars film? I stopped watching star wars after the prequel, jar jar binks, what a piece of shite? We insisted to take our sister, who hasn't been to a movie in about thirty years and this is the first one she sees, she will probably never want to go to the movies again, she hasn't been since.

Have you made any funeral plans? No I have not, I do not want to think about it. I am kinda in a bad mood now, can you tell?

What music would you like played at your funeral? I will let you know when I think of something, because of you, I will probably give it some thought. ( I never left here until I found music for my funeral )

You think you will be moving on up? You are a believer! I knew it.
"whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life" Conversion can come even on a death bed, who knows, we may spend eternity together after all. ( oh I hope I am not pissing you off -- it's better than being pissed on )

    watch?v=EcxOkht8w7c Here I am Lord

    watch?v=dWpG7qHtB8g Be not afraid

    watch?v=FG9T8UmN6VY One Bread One Body
(communion hymn, if there is a mass)

    watch?v=EWqjlymEGuk How Great Thou Art

The last one is Jim Nabors and a really bad video, which made us both laugh, you kinda expect Godzilla to appear, break through the walls of the church at any moment. Elvis also recorded the song, I hear he is hung like a horse. I plan to keep company with him until you arrive. Then we can have an AAA that's a threesome with angels or a DDA that's devil, devil, angel or by then it may just be DDD, oh well, you lead me astray Spunky.

In the midst of writing this post, we started making out, while How Great Thou Art was playing, my husband said, this just doesn't seem right...

Anyway, I listened to your songs, will you listen to mine? I only liked Primal Scream - Movin' On Up, Is that the KKK in Joy Division - Atmosphere? (weird).

No wonder I am not having sex if gospels are playing... will consider making a change. I have been working on my funeral music all afternoon and now it is nearly half eleven. There is only one minor detail lacking and then it will be Done and Dusted.

We are going to attempt to sleep together tonight, wonder if we last the whole night in the same bed...

I love How Great Thou Art but I will bawl like a baby. I do in church, embarrassing, good thing I will be dead. I also really like the Battle Hymn of the Republic, will cry at that one too.

My husband has concluded I defy description and he is having a real good laugh at the moment thanks to you.
Have you kept up now?! Harrison Ford is still alive but he will die!
If you trust me (I doubt), I'll make sure your music wishes are heeded at your funeral. I'll just play Love Cats!

I haven't seen one like it but have a vision of it in my mind and would probably have to have the one I envision made up special for the occasion.
If you so wish, I'll make sure there's stormtroopers at your funeral, assuming you die before me that is!

Let's book those stormtroopers for both our funerals! Surely there's a Star Wars funeral plan to be bought.
