LIFE'S A CHORE  Chores, I guess, are things you have to do but don’t want to do and don’t get paid to do. My most annoying chores are shaving, brushing my teeth and putting my socks on. As you can see, my life is one big chore! In their 2013 article, 'Egalitarianism, housework, and sexual frequency in marriage', published in the journal American Sociological Review, Sabino Kornrich, Julie Brines and Katrina Leupp found that couples who share housework have less sex than couples who do not share housework. My three most onerous household chores are having to put clothes I’ve worn into a laundry basket for my girlfriend to wash, having to take my clothes ironed by my girlfriend upstairs, and having to put dirty plates into the dishwasher after my girlfriend has cooked and served me a meal! After loading the dishwasher, I then have to dutifully turn to the chore of having sex with my girlfriend! What are your most favourite chores? And what are your least favourite chores? I think you're living the dream, Spunky! What are your most favourite chores? Tisying up...just generally wandering around and putting things away, putting things right. And what are your least favourite chores? Vacuuming and mowing the lawn. We should have goats to do both for us. If you live with someone, are household chores shared? There is a division of labor. I never allow my wife to perform any task requiring more mechanical aptitude than is commonly possessed by the average turtle. And although I can cook and am not bad at it she reserves any and all kitchen duties for herself. We have a couple of simple rules: If you want it cleaned, clean it. I live alone so their is NO division of labour here....it either gets done or it doesn't. I don't mind dusting, tidying, doing dishes, decorating etc. I hate ironing and cutting the grass. ~~Anais Nin~~

Happy HNW, spunky! Cooking is my favorite!  Driving my SIL around is my least favorite  I call it a chore in the winter! We share most of the chores....I vacuum and dust...she cleans the bathroom!

I like dusting... Not doing a Freddy Mercury in 'I Want To Break Free' video but spray disinfectant on a tissue and wiping dust from surfaces, not just stirring that crap up. I like polishing the silver, more the occasional wear than the silver cutlery (which I don't own and tastes horrible to eat with, stainless steel doesn't corrupt the flavout of food). I like disinfecting lightswitches and doorknobs to keep bacteria (rhinovirus etc...) to a minimum. I pretty much find every other chore, even cooking and defecating untenable, vacuuming - nope, clothes washing -nope, dish washing - nope. Ironically, scrubbing the toilet is more appealing than all of these but I dust, I definitely dust!

Nobody can call Spunky a lazy sod, can they? I have deliberately left out the word old, as I may live in that glass house myself. I am mechanically inclined and handy around the house; I have even laid carpet, when I could see someone else was making a mess of it. If you haven't got any carpet, I am willing to negotiate Kzoo. Do you think PD would mind a sister wife? I think I like the rules over at your house. * * * favourite chores? least favourite chores? not certain, we have staff for that, watching the staff take care of the chores. Paying the staff. They should be delighted to get their hands dirty around here. "couples who share housework have less sex than couples who do not share housework" humph! well that could be where it's all gone awry or maybe the staff is taking care of that too... She has higher cleaning standards than me but why should I clean to her standards!
