MY BLOODY VALENTINE  I will always send you flowers Red, bleeding with hope If you celebrate Valentine’s Day, I wish you a very sexy and happy Valentine’s Day. I’m not a massive fan of Valentine’s Day, though I do mark the day. I sent a card anonymously, and I received a card not anonymously. So I guess I get back more or less what I put in. One year, when I was more romantic, I compiled a two-line love poem for my then Valentine. How will you be celebrating Valentine’s Day? Have you written a love poem for someone? My Bloody Valentine are an Irish indie-pop/rock band – see below. I loved their name but not their music!    |

How will you be celebrating Valentine’s Day? We had modest plans- Chinese takeout and a movie on TV. But a winter storm is blowing in and the wind is brutal- it's eleven degrees F and it must be blowing thirty miles an hour. We might just burrow in here...hunker down until it lets up. Have you written a love poem for someone? No...I can't write poetry. But I saw a great card on the AssPlace. "The human body has two hundred and six bones. How will you be celebrating Valentine’s Day? Not very romantically . We are expecting, for the next few days record low temperatures and record high winds. Have power outage warning, but minimal snow. So the morning was making sure the old folks in the neighbor hood either has alternate heating sources available, or generators to keep their furnaces running. This afternoon will be checking for dead tree branches and loose things that can be blown around. Better to do the preventive work now. Have you written a love poem for someone? I wish I could, but I am horrible at it

Wife got her annual valentine...I got my usual "nothing"!  You could say I wrote a poem, but it was only 4 lines long!

I have been minding the little ones all day....got home at about 8pm after dinner with my daughter....I shall spend an hour or so on here....chat to a friend later and then fall into bed....alone. Happy Valentine's Day.  ~~Anais Nin~~

I too have given up going for a meal on Valentine's Day. You have to book very far in advance or end up somewhere not of your choice.

Hunkering down, bickering because I made him rearrange the furniture, glued to a f f. Wanting to get out due to being cooped up so long, but it is snowing and it's fixing to blow gale winds, hopefully we don't kill each other. National Weather Service: A damaging wind event with West to northwest wind gusts around 60 mph is forecast for portions of the area late tonight and Sunday -- so hunkering down like Kzoopair.

I celebrated Valentine's Day sending romantic emails to someone very sexy who I hope to one day get to treat in a very special way on a future Valentine's Day. I also enjoyed an apple-cinnamon teacake and a delightful bottle of Riccadonna Sparkling Rose Moscato. I wrote love poetry for elephantine-dicked Darren who gave me the Valentine's bear on my Valentine's Day post this year. There were 6 stanzas of pure love in my poem. I'm quite partial to My Bloody Valentine... Lead singer Matt Tuck totally rocks and their best track ever was Scream, Aim, Fire... Seriously kickarse stuff. I'm a bit surprised that you don't like them.

The situation here has now deteriorated. I have just used the eff word twice and it was not in the form of an invitation. I guess today is just another day after all. So this is one fairy tale that doesn't end: AND THEY LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER... THE END Let's just hope there won't be blood...

I find MBV more hard rock/soft metal than indie... I've never really understood the indie tag. I thought Texas were indie.
