A THERMOMETER

What's the difference between an oral thermometer and a rectal thermometer?
The taste!

Do you own a thermometer?
If so, do you know what a normal temperature is?

I have a thermometer in my belongings, stored in my bathroom. It's never been used and, if it was, I wouldn't know what a normal temperature is to do anything about the temperature.

Cattle are normal 101 to 102. Horses about 100. Birds in general I believe run around 104

Yes I have a thermometer and the average temperature in 37 degrees celsius but your temperature can vary a lot during the day without there being anything wrong with you.

The difference is an oral, ear, armpit and a rectal thermometer is that rectal thermometer is more accurate when testing internal temperature. What's considered a normal varies. Generally it's plus or minus a degree depending on which thermometer your using.

Is my point valid,.. I dont know,..depends where your head's at when you read it

The difference between oral and rectal thermometers is one goes in your mouth...the other in your ass!
Yes, I have one for putting under the tongue and a modern one you just stick in the ear!
98.6F (37C) is considered normal body temp!

Yes.
Yes.
My dog hates the rectal thermometer. My cat loves it- his ears perk up and he purrs. Apparently I have a bi cat.

Do you own a thermometer?
yep, I own an electronic one!

If so, do you know what a normal temperature is?
I believe anything near 98.2 degrees Fahrenheit or 36.78 °C is considered normal.

I don't think I would trust my old thermometer now to take a correct temperature!

If I think I have a temperature, I'll go the doctor's.
I should throw away my thermometer as it's just taking up space in my very small bathroom!

I don't own a thermometer... I used to have a forehead strip thingy about 20 years ago that was supposed to function like a thermometer. It had readings that were 'TOO LOW' 'ACCEPTABLE RANGE' and 'TOO HIGH' these words would light up on the strip which was black. It was an interesting piece of technology. I have no idea what ever happened to it. The acceptable temperature is 37°C + or - 1°C as far as I'm aware... Anything beyond that might be cause for concern.

I loved the joke... You don't want to accidentally pop a rectal thermometer into anyone's mouth, even though in professional situations they are thoroughly sterilized.
I can't remember where my thermometer's been since I bought it!

That looks like a very advanced thermometer.
My under-your-tongue thermometer is an antique!

I've never heard of aural thermometers. It seems every bodily orifice has a specially-designed thermometer. I'm never going to show the eye of my cock to a doctor ever again!
