BROWSER PROBLEMS

I’ve not been able to log onto this site for two days. I’ve been able to visit any other website except this one!

After an expensive phone call to this site’s customer service, the helpful man suggested that my browser has blocked my access to this site and suggested that I access the site via a secondary browser. It worked, though it's not quite the same experience as before!

I don’t really know what a browser is – everything is just the internet to me!

It turns out that my browser is Microsoft’s Internet Explorer though I’m now using Google Chrome to get onto this site now.

Why would my browser deny me access to this site?
How do I get my browser to allow me access to the site?

Regarding computers and the internet, I’ve always played catch-up with it. The internet was not around during my time at school or university. Most other people seem so familiar with computers and the internet, but I struggle to keep up!

Are you okay on the computer and the internet?
Do you know what a cookie is?
How do you sort out cookies on a computer?

A friend of mine has recently suggested I need to sort out my cookies on my computer. It’s another language! These are the cookies I like!

I was about to start searching all the pubs in Nottingham for you.

I am pretty okay with computers....I used to manage a network of 40 users in work.

Cookies are the sort of things that are left behind when you have been browsing various sites.....a bit like the crumbs on the floor when the dog has pinched the biscuits lol!!! You need to get rid of them every now and then or they clog up your computer....and if the grandkids "borrow" it to look up their homework they can see what I've been up to!!!

To delete your cookies....in Chrome....click on the three lines at the top right hand corner of the screen immediately below the "x" in the red box....scroll down to history and click on that...then go delete your history lol.

It's probably not your browser...it's more likely the site. The response time is horrendously slow just now and various browsers work best for different parts of the site. IE8 isn't great at all, Chrome is good for the blogs and Firefox is the only one that I can get to work when I'm making big bling.

1. I expect it's the site rather than your browser. Though some browser settings may block some trackers on the a.f.f site.
2. Use a 'light' browser, like chrome, the loss of functionality isn't so bad when compared with the problems the more complicated browsers can cause.
3. I'm okay, passable, try Gus, AngusMcCoatup, he's a bit of a whizz!
4. Aye, as Betty says, it's kind of a crumb, it enable the site which left it there to sniff out it's cookies quicker, supposedly to speed up interaction when you revisit. I personally think they are just another tracker, I clear my cookies at least once a day.
5. Follow the process Betty gives, it's fairly easy after a while.

Why would my browser deny me access to this site?
They always blame the problems on you or your equipment or your software. That's what passes for tech support nowadays- it is never their fault! Ever!

How do I get my browser to allow me access to the site?
In truth, I can't advise you. I use nothing but Apple.

"I don’t really know what a browser is"
Usually it refers to herbivores who graze continuously on grasses, as opposed to carnivores who periodically gorge themselves on their prey. One browses the salad bar, and wolfs down one's roast beef.

Like osphena says, check to see if you can view other porn sites with Internet Explorer. If you can follow the steps below.

1. While Internet Explorer is open click on the gear (top right)
2. Front the menu click Internet Options
3. Click on the second tabs, with the title "Security"
4. Click on the "Restricted Sites" Icon
5. Then click the "Sites" button right below that.
6. If you see Adultfrinedfinder.com listed, click on it then click the remove button

That should do the trick

Many thanks for all this great advice. I just wish I was far more knowledgeable with computers. I just muddle along on a need-to-know basis.
Another problem is that I can't ask my friends about problems relating to this site!
Once again, thanks for your help.

Why would my browser deny me access to this site? I have heard about your browsing history before, even browsers eventually take offense. You should have thought about this mister, it was to be expected

How do I get my browser to allow me access to the site? Ask very very nicely with sugar on top, not marmite, sugar, got it? and clean out your cookies while your at it.

Are you okay on the computer and the internet? it depends who you ask, some say she's just Meh and others say "hot damn!" Send me a message and I'll send you the website and you can decide for yourself.

Do you know what a cookie is? yes I do and they are NOT biscuits and those are NOT Maryland cookies--THEY ARE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES -- OR-- NESTLE TOLL HOUSE COOKIES, so there! (sorry I am just a bit bitchy)

How do you sort out cookies on a computer? That depends on your keyboard, is it QUERTY? or Dvorak? Line them up, and you start eating the ones on the right and I will start eating the ones on the left. We can see what happens when we meet in the middle or see who eats more of them, it will be fun. Know what happens when you give a computer a cookie? You end up making another very expensive phone call to customer service, so don't do it, alright? just don't, eat the feckin cookie and stop trying to push them into the computer, Geez!

I was right in your neighborhood until 9am this morning, could have fixed it for ya. I didn't sleep all night. I really am not well. I think it is asthma from all the black mold in the house at the seafront. I even took one of the dogs allergy pills and I stole my daughter's inhaler. Don't worry, I have had that same inhaler before and the dog doesn't mind sharing. I often come home sick like this from Wales--too much mold and too long in country. I stayed awake until 5am and then went for breakfast. I checked-in around 6 am and the flight boarded at 7:50. Glad to be home now, even though I am coughing and my head is about to explode.
I wish my computer cookies were chocolate chip cookies. I'd the soon sort out the problem by eating them!

Affairlook Customer Service always blame its members as its default position. It's quite frustrating as often it's their problem!

Dear S, I feel your pain... I cannot offer a hypothesis as to why your browser might have locked you out of access to this site.
I can also offer you no solution to your problem as I am still relatively new to the internet and have been using for only just 4 years and learning as I go. I should do a computers course. I did very well in computer studies at college in 1992 but we had no interaction with the internet in any of those classes.
I'm okay on computers but given that I rarely sit at a proper one (using my phone for 99% of my internet stuff), they are becoming a bit foreign again but the internet I struggle with. I know how to clear the cache on my smartphone but cookies mean no more to you than they do to me.
I've now cleared my cookies; I'd prefer to eat them though!
