HOW’S YOUR LIBIDO?

HOW’S YOUR LIBIDO?

I’ve just finished reading a newspaper article about people’s libido. It’s commonly observed that a person’s desire for sexual activity decreases with age.

To maintain one’s sex drive, Ian Marber, a nutritionist, suggested eating the following 12 foods:
1. Caffeine
2. Pumpkin seeds
3. Avocado
4. Oysters
5. Beetroot juice
6. Sardines
7. Salmon
8. Bananas
9. Oats
10. Lentils
11. Almonds
12. Green tea

From the list, I have lots of caffeine every day. I eat bananas regularly; and I eat avocado, sardines, salmon, oats, lentils and almonds less regularly. I don’t eat pumpkin seeds and oysters; and I don’t drink beetroot juice and green tea.

Since puberty, my libido generally increased and it probably peaked in my 40s, though I think my desire for sex is still healthily strong nowadays in my 50s. I can’t imagine my sex drive disappearing, or rather I hope it doesn’t disappear.

I’m writing this blog while eating a pumpkin-seeded sardine-salmon combo dish cooked in a banana-and-coffee-flavoured oatmeal sauce, served with a lentil-and-almond-laced avocado oyster side dish, and washed down with a beetroot juice-green tea cocktail.

The meal is disgusting, but at least I’m going to want sex for a very long time!

How would you describe your libido?
Has your sex drive changed over your lifetime?
If so, have you peaked yet?

How would you describe your libido?
5' 10", 170 lbs, curly black hair. Lean with a flat stomach. That's how my libido looks, remarkably, exactly like I looked at twenty five. I don't look much like that any more, though.

Has your sex drive changed over your lifetime?
Ummm...yes. I still think about sex with every woman I see but I certainly don't have the energy to follow them all home. Many of them can outrun me anyway.

If so, have you peaked yet?
Probably. Certainly. I don't want to talk about it.

From your list I have:
2. Pumpkin seeds
6. Sardines
7. Salmon
8. Bananas
10. Lentils
11. Almonds
12. not Green tea - but cinnamon tea and honey

I think a good balanced diet helps to improve libido, nothing to do with specific food, but hormones

- How would you describe your libido?
Attraction is what defines my libido, always been, always will...
- Has your sex drive changed over your lifetime?
Yes, after 40's got better
- If so, have you peaked yet?

I don't care for sardines but love smoked oysters...and I like beets more than the juice!
Is there such a thing as a high energy libido?
I don't think my libido has changed over time nor has it peaked. The wife's has changed over time but not for the good!

My libido is fine, it's my love life that stinks.

Sometimes I wish my libido would die off because constantly being horny, yet not having anyone to be intimate with (other than my right hand) is making me depressed and crabby.

How would you describe your libido?
Evolving....I have been heterosexual sex drive for most of my life but lately I have been fantasizing about male to male trists. I am think am leaning toward bisexuality libido.

Has your sex drive changed over your lifetime?
Yes....some days I don't have any...other days I have so much I don't know what to do. Age has slowed me down a bit.

If so, have you peaked yet?
I think so...it takes me longer to recover then it used to.

I actually, do have a few things I eat/drink to keep everything in working order. Top on the list is pistachios nuts, grapes (circulation), green tea, red berries, and a Vitim C supplement.

My Libido is solid and my stamina is apparently outstanding for my age (thank you kegel exercises). The problem area is recover time... I am still trying to roll back the clock on that one.

I have a good libido. It's my partner that has peaked....LOL

My sex drive is higher today than it was when I was in my 20's and 30's. I eat and drink a lot of those foods that are on that list plus a lot of dark chocolate.

Funny women are incredibly sexy!

I would describe my libido on a scale of one to ten as being a two... I can't experience sex the way my body needs to, so the fire's all but gone out. A very attractive and affectionate partner can bring my libido up to a seven.

My sex drive hasn't really changed.

I haven't hit my peak and will need my own, accommodating, vagina to get there. My anus is not really a pseudo vagina.
A good partner can work wonders for the libido!

Being horny with no one else around is indeed frustrating!
