BEHIND  I’ve got very behind in replying to comments left on my blog. My apologies to those who’ve kindly left comments on my blog posts to which I haven’t replied yet. I do like to reply to all comments and I will get round to replying to all comments in the next few days. Thank you for your patience. Sometimes I struggle to keep up with all that’s going on in blogland, whether it’s visiting other people’s blogs, commenting on other people’s blogs, posting my daily blogs and replying to comments on my blog. I particularly struggle if I’m offline for some time and, when online, I’m faced with that sea of yellow! If only, this site would pay bloggers to do what they do and then I could give up my job! I guess I’ll have to make a choice - blog less or visit fewer blogs. Not replying to comments on my blog posts is not an option as that’s important to me. If you blog, do you reply to all comments left on your blog? Do you struggle to keep up with blogland? If so, what do you do to make things more manageable?   |

I never knowing fail to respond to comments on my blog even the nasty comments....and I've had my share of them! I find it hard to cope with the blogs at times.....when I get behind with my watched list I read all the posts but maybe only comment on the last one for each blogger. I also don't blog every day now which helps a lot. It takes a lot of pressure off and blogging has become a pleasure for me again. There was a time when I worried if I didn't clear the watched list every day....now I just do what I can. ~~Anais Nin~~

If you blog, do you reply to all comments left on your blog? I try to. Do you struggle to keep up with blogland? I don't post every day, so no, not really. I read a a fair number of blogs and the comments there, but I have plenty of time, usually. If so, what do you do to make things more manageable? I have my favorites, and I read them first, if I can. But if I'm watching a blog it's because it's pretty much a favorite. Honestly though, there's occasionally a topic that I just can't think of anything to say about. This is a dating site, essentially, and I'm not dating! There are some very good blogs that deal with the vicissitudes of of connecting genitalia through using a site like this one and the vagaries of navigation around the site and its denizens. So even though they are well written and informative, there's really nothing there for me, mostly. A lot of the blogs deal with the deplorable state of the human condition, and that can be a fun topic! As long as it isn't one constant negative rant after another, I'm in. The best blogs for me are about the mundane daily doings of folks. Each of us has something exciting to say now and then, so every day there is some titillating thing to read about. But I have discovered a couple that I did not do that, so I better get my butt back in gear Do you struggle to keep up with blogland? Constantly. This Christmas break seems to have slowed things down though If so, what do you do to make things more manageable? I have started to respond to folks that are commenting and visiting. If it is not interactive, it is not fun

I have 30 blogs I watch....I can't comment on more then one comment per person a day....there are some people who blog numerous times a day...I just pick one I like and then I comment once. If so, what do you do to make things more manageable? I am selective who I watch and if people do not reply to my comments then I stop watching them...they have become too big. I also only comment 1x a day per blog I watch. I there have been many times when I am so busy, that I don't comment daily....but life happens! I do my best to respond to every comment left on my blog. Sometimes it is overwhelming when I don't log on for a couple days to my watched list and the sea of yellow. I read all posts but might comment on just a couple if there are 5 or more waiting to be read. This time of year and everything going on kinda throws a wrench into logging on every day!

Some people have had issues with that and stopped reading my blog...eh... Do you struggle to keep up with blogland? Not any more. I have to scale back my watch list. If so, what do you do to make things more manageable? I have maybe 20 bloggers I read. If another catches my mind, I will add them to my watch list. If a blogger constantly writes negative, read only, sex blogs, poor me blogs, I just pass them by.

Do you struggle to keep up with blogland? sometimes the sea of yellow is way too much. If so, what do you do to make things more manageable? Now if a blogger posts 10 times in one day.. I can't do it! You get one post from me. That is all the time I have. I tell bloggers to choose your post carefully... One post a day is good! You have to remember we have more then 100 watchers on our list and it is very difficult to get around to all of them in one day. Become a blog watcher sweet_vm

I always reply to all my comments on my blog...it's easy too because I don't get that many.  I enjoy your blog because you always have interesting topics and sexy pics.   Funny women are incredibly sexy!

I strive to reply to 99.95% of all comments left on my blog... The .05% is accounted for by replies that the site deletes or where the comment was subsequent to a thread of communication between myself and another member who I felt should have the last word or in the past (when my blog was open to all), if another member left a comment who habitually ignored my comments on their blog, I would see fit to not dignify them with any response. I struggle to keep up with the politics and some of the in-fighting but am almost always devoid of that sea of yellow unless my phone credit runs out and I have no cash to get a recharge and can not access the internet until I apply a recharge. To keep things manageable, I only watch blogs that really interest me regardless of who watches mine. I never feel obligated to watch blogs that I don't find rivetting even friends blogs. I still try (when I have free time) to drop by on an occasional post of a watcher's blog when I have done all I feel I need to do on the blogs that I actively watch. I also place less pressure upon myself to blog by rote and blog when I think I have an interesting topic to present that my friends/watchers will find stimulating or funny. I also don't get much sleep but my best tip is not to watch more than 50 blogs and ideally not blogs that have bloggers that post multiple posts per day on a regular basis. This keeps the stress to a minimum. I hope these tips help.

I occasionally do culls of blogs I watch. Some bloggers here are very prolific. I'm a once-a-day blogger but some people are five times a day. Why? I guess it's therapy!

It's not that I feel obliged; it's because I want to reply to comments received. But I think I will cut down on how many blogs I post a little.
