TOO SHY  Too Shy was a 1983 hit song for Limahl’s Kajagoogoo. I was very shy as a and even quite shy into my twenties. I remember once going to a dinner party with a girlfriend when I was too shy to muster any conversation (apart from the basics like hello and goodbye). My then girlfriend wasn’t impressed. But I’m no longer shy nowadays. However, I still sometimes find it difficult to sexually proposition someone for the first time. I often rely on looks and actions to get sex going rather than relying on words to suggest sex. I have a 7 inch vinyl copy of the 1983 hit 'Too Shy' by Kajagoogoo with Limahl as the lead singer but I loved two of their other songs 'Ooh To Be Ah' and the b-side track to the 12 inch vinyl single 'Interview Rooms'... I can still be a little shy and reserved but in my childhood I was terrified to ask for anything or to often even speak because I was usually flogged for daring to open my mouth other than to put food into it. I tend not to proposition people sexually and instead instinctively leap when I sense that it's what they want, too. I was propositioned by a bus driver about a year ago. I live nearby to the end of a route so it's bound to happen occasionally. He didn't appeal to my tastes, so I simply said "Thank you but NO!" and hopped off.
