A BAD DAY AT THE OFFICE

A BAD DAY AT THE OFFICE

Above are photos of window cleaners working at One World Trade Center in New York. That’s definitely a bad day at the office!

Windows are very tempting to look into. I’ve found Dutch windows the best to look into; British windows are boring as they are too small and too netted or curtained!.

When was the last time you cleaned your windows?
What’s the most interesting thing you’ve seen through someone else’s window?
Are you a window-shopper?
What do you do when you’ve had or have had a bad day at work?

I never clean my windows - most of my windows are far too high for me to clean!

I love window-watching (but not window-shopping). I must admit that I’ve not seen too much exciting to report. I just like seeing how other people live. And I keep have to look through windows just to check I’m not missing out on anything.

Since moving to Nottingham and I take the bus to and from work, I don’t bring the bad things that happen to work to my home. The bus journey has a cleansing effect on me as I to take stock on the bus that it’s just work and it’s not worth bringing home.

Though I do often wonder why we tend to treat people better outside work than when in work. I guess it’s capitalism!

I cleaned the two big windows last month before the first snowfall.
I saw that on the news last night...I would never do it as I have a fear of heights.
I don't have bad days at work.............I'm retired!!!

When I heard about the window washers in NYC, I thought, "There has to be a better way to clean windows on a high rise." Any inventors out there...get busy.
I have not cleaned all my windows but occasionally do clean the windows in our doors. I do like to look in windows but like you, it is pretty boring. Dutch windows...Nice!

There is a difference between a good BJ and a bad BJ.

That situation with the window cleaner at the WTC in New York is definitely a bad day at the office... I wouldn't do a job like that for millions.
I'm actually about to clean my windows in a few hours as it's about a year since I did them and they're getting cloudy.
I saw neighbours in the next building having soixante-neuf but as soon as I grabbed my binoculars for a closer look, I think the sun glinting off the lenses got their attention and they got up and dropped their blinds.
I'm not much of a window shopper, if I haven't got the money to go into the store and seriously scope the merchandise, I tend to ignore shops for the most part.
You have binoculars!

What’s the most interesting thing you've seen through someone else’s window? A sex doll, really! In wales, the flat looks into the windows of the dormitory. After finals were through, it was mayhem next door, there'd be no sleeping. In the morning there were broken windows, beer cans everywhere and a sex doll indiscriminately and indecently posed on top of the kitchen counter. I wish I had taken a picture.

The new students are back and my daughter told me there was a naked boy standing in the window looking into her flat. Her husband said, he fancies you. They saw him again and she said no Mike, I think he fancies you! Turns out he fancies himself, the eejit, placed a full length mirror there without regard to the window or open drapes.

And then there is Sleazy Mark, his flat is down the street, he never closes his drapes and often looks down the hill towards the sea in only his tighty whities.

Are you a window-shopper? I love window shopping

What do you do when you've had or have had a bad day at work? Depends on how bad the day was, I have been known to cry. Worse, I have come home and take it out on others around me. I am a kept woman now (unemployed due to a lack of an MLS) so I don't have those kind of bad days any more.
I hope you buy when when you window-shop!
