A PAINFUL STATISTIC  It pains me to announce that there are twenty more male masochists than there are female masochists. Assuming this statistic is true, I am very surprised at this finding given men's low pain threshhold. Why are there more men getting off sexually with pain than there are women? What’s the most painful event you’ve experienced? Have you ever experienced a broken heart? “There are three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies, and statistics.” Mark Twain attributed this saying to the British Prime Minister Benjamin Disraeli (1804–1881), but there’s no record to suggest he ever said this phrase. Another urban myth! And why is it an urban myth and not a rural myth? Perhaps country folk are too simple for myths! Apart from a couple of broken hearts, my two most painful moments were when I broke my thumb and got kicked in the balls. I’ve never given birth!  |

My ex was a submissive. I did not find out or open my eyes enough to see until we had been married for 3 years and had two children. As a strong woman, I can see why he was attracted to me. I am strong enough to be a switch. I became a Domme in training for him. I hated every minute of it. The most painful moment for me was inflicted by me. The Dom who was training me, wanted me to experience more than one sub at a time. He brought in two subs I had never worked with. It's my bet that certain types of men are more willing to let women inflict "kinky pain" upon them if the woman will give them the pleasure that they hope for, later. Certain types of women like to be sadistic to men but aren't that keen on being subjected to pain other than childbirth... As a mother, they seem to validate their existence and earn their woman card. That makes me sound bitter but I'm intending no insult. I was reminded while on the advice line that since any 'cunt' I ever get will never be able to be impregnated or pass a new life out of it, I have no right to identify myself, ever, as a woman. I interpret that to mean that a woman becomes recognised as one from the process of giving birth. Women in shops who recognise me as female invariably refer to me as "this girl" or "this young lady". The most painful event I have ever experienced is an accidentally scalded glans, on three separate occasions. I have had my heart broken eleven times, from memory.

A ruptured gall bladder sounds very painful. I can handle a bit of pain when having sex, though it doesn't feel like so much like pain at the time!
