GHOST SEX  It’s soon Halloween. For the first time in ages, I’ve been invited to a Halloween party on Friday. I’m struggling to decide what to wear. The best I can come up with, without buying or hiring a special outfit, is to wear a black suit, black tie and a white shirt. I’m not feeling very imaginative at the moment. Will you be celebrating Halloween? Do you believe in ghosts? Have you seen a ghost? Below is the Brown Lady of Raynham Hall and. The ghost is supposed to be Lady Dorothy Walpole, the sister of the first Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Robert Walpole. It’s alleged, when her husband found out that she was having an affair, he locked her in the rooms of the stately home until she died of smallpox in 1726. After her death, Lady Dorothy Walpole haunted the house. The first recorded claim of the ghost, known as the Brown Lady, was at a Christmas gathering in 1835. On 19 September 1936, Captain Hubert C Provand and Mr Indre Shira, working for the Country Life magazine, took a photograph of the ghost descending the stairs. Their photograph appeared in the magazine on 26 December 26 1936. Afterwards, the paranormal investigator Harry Price questioned the two men about the ghost and concluded: “I will say at once I was impressed. I was told a perfectly simple story: Mr. Indre Shira saw the apparition descending the stairs at the precise moment when Captain Provand’s head was under the black cloth. A shout - and the cap was off and the flashbulb fired, with the results which we now see. I could not shake their story, and I had no right to disbelieve them. Only collusion between the two men would account for the ghost if it is a fake. The negative is entirely innocent of any faking.” That’s all sorted then, there could be possibly no collusion between the two men and therefore there is a ghost! I don’t believe in ghosts but I do believe that people genuinely think they see ghosts. Our eyes are not good at seeing things. I think ghost exist. I am not qualified to explain reasoning though. I will be passing out candy. I enjoy decorating my yard for Halloween. I have webs and ghosts and skeletons abound.

I have celebrated all the way up until this year, by taking both kids trick-or-treating.This year, we will be celebrating my heritage more, by going to a candle-light vigil for all the dead in Old Towne San Diego for Dia De Los Muertos. I will not be celebrating Hallowe'en but will be performing my usual ritual of waiting until the witching hour to request from the spirits a better year than the previous. I have no choice but to believe in ghosts, I used to see them quite regularly as a child. This fact also answers your 3rd question. I saw ghosts often until my late teens, now I have to endure their company with the occasional sighting. I don't have the imagination to make this up. Thanks for your mail pointing out an error in my post - I've now corrected it. It wasn't the husband who first saw the ghost. I tried to mail back to say thanks but the mail reply function is not working.

Thanks for your interesting account of how Italians celebrate All Souls' Day. As a kid I never celebrated Halloween; it was always Guy Fawkes Night that I celebrated (without understanding its origins). Now Halloween seems to have overtaken Bonfire Night in terms of popularity in this country.
