THROWING SHAMPOO IS FUNNY  Today someone threw some shampoo at me, but it turned out to be real poo! No one threw shampoo at me today; it’s a joke from the comedian Milton Jones, though I‘ve had someone throw an egg at me when I was walking on a street in London. After I felt an egg break on my head, I saw a carful of youngsters laughing at me as I wiped the mess off my hair. In anger, I’ve also had a glass of wine thrown at me by a partner. But no one has thrown a punch at me and I’ve never thrown a punch at someone since leaving school. In play, I’ve had lots of snowballs and scrunched-up paper thrown at me. And, in celebration, I’ve also had wedding confetti thrown at me. What has been thrown at you in anger or in play?? What have you thrown at someone? On 14 December 2008, Muntadhar al-Zaidi, an Iraqi journalist, threw his shoe at US President George W Bush at a press conference in Baghdad. Before he threw the shoe, he shouted, “This is a farewell kiss from the Iraqi people, you dog.” After receiving apologies from other Iraqi journalists at the press conference, President Bush joked and said, “If you want the facts, it's a size 10 shoe that he threw.” Not a bad riposte!  |

When I was young, I had a glass of water thrown in my face by my Dad! I wasn't even thirsty!  (it was in anger)When I played baseball, I threw balls! It has been 29 years since I threw "up"!

I once knocked a guys front teeth out at a bar. He was drunk and forceful and would not take "no" for answer. I have learned over the years to not have things in my hands or near me is I am angry.

Boxing is often portrayed as controlled and respectful. I've only had one boxing fight but the punches still hurt even with the gloves!

I've had rocks thrown at me and one that left me with a very nasty split on the head that required stitches... My scalp is littered with scars, thank goodness I'm not lacking for hair to cover them. I threw a set of stereo speakers at someone when I was 17 (they missed their target but smashed on the wall behind it), I'm still ashamed of that... They cranked out the best quality sound. Such a waste.

I didn't include the punches that have been thrown at me by multiple people over the decades... I figured that if I itemised them, the list would fill the entire page. Nearly all the punches connected.
