A frotteur is a person who becomes sexually aroused by rubbing against a stranger. Frotteurs often get their kicks in very crowded places.

Frotteurism, once known as frottage, is a classified paraphilia. The term was coined by the sexologist Richard von Krafft-Ebing in his 1886 book Psychopathia Sexualis. If not consenting, frotteurism is a criminal offence in most countries.

Japanese trains must be heaven for frotteurs and hell for commuters. Commuter trains in Japanese cities are notorious for being very crowded; station officials are employed to cram people into the train carriages.

Below is a crowded Japanese commuter train and, for good measure, the Japanese high-speed cock (sorry, Bullet) train.

 I haven't "intentionally" rubbed against a stranger, but when I flew from Frankfurt to Dusseldorf a pretty young woman fell asleep with her head on my shoulder before the plane even took off. I was window seat, she had middle seat. My wife was across the isle and 4 rows ahead! (her flight was booked months before mine..hence the separation)
