The BBC news reporter asked the choreographer how she keeps so fit. She replied that you need to “fire the nipples” and “keep the crotch open” to keep fit. “Shoulders back! They have to be the first things to enter the room.” Dame Gillian Lynne started off as a ballet dancer and shared a stage with Dame Margot Fonteyn. After her ballerina days, she turned to choreography and was involved in choreographing the hit musicals, Cats and Phantom of the Opera. She met her husband, 30 years her junior, while she was coaching Sophia Loren how to move sexily. She also had an affair with the actor Errol Flynn. “Oh, he leapt on everything in sight”, she says, “But he was the most charismatic man I had met. Of course I fell for him.
