LET THE TRAIN TAKE THE STRAIN   “Let the train take the strain” was an advertising slogan used by British Rail before it was privatised in the early 1990s. Last night I had a dream about a journey from London to Glasgow on a British Rail train. My girlfriend and I decided to book a cabin on a sleeper train for the overnight journey to Scotland. We also decided to pay extra for a ticket that allowed us to go naked on a special train carriage. Above was my girlfriend still sleeping in the cabin and me stretching out in the carriage waiting for breakfast to be served. How often do you use the train? What have been your favourite train journeys? Have you ever had sex with someone else on a train? Train journeys are my favourite journeys, far better than travelling by car or plane. Trains are great for people-watching, looking out of the window or just relaxing over a newspaper and coffee. My favourite journeys are train journeys that cross the borders of countries. One holiday I took involved three train journeys from Prague to Vienna, Vienna to Budapest, and Budapest back to Prague. It was a fantastic way of travelling with no stress of driving or catching a plane. Perhaps soon my dream train journey to Scotland will involve crossing a border if Scotland votes for independence tomorrow! I would love to experience a train journey in India and maybe even in Thailand - see photo below. Apart from a bit of solo-sex in the toilets, I’ve never had a sex on a train … yet!   |

With my recent American train trip chronicled, I have to agree. Traveling by rail is quite enjoyable. As a child I rode trains all over Europe and parts of Africa. I have found memories. I read about a "zipless fuck" in the book Fear of Flying. That book started my sexual liberation journey. A zipless fuck involves fucking a stranger on a train but never speaking...

I traveled across Canada once by train(4days).... never do it again. I did travel by train a couple times in Germany. I like the high speed trains there. You don't notice the 250/kph until another train passes going the other way. I took pictures out the window and they turned out great. I never had sex on one!

I guess I have a long history with trains. At a year old, I was still not walking and my parents decided to take the train from Los Angeles to Chicago to visit my dad's family. The day before we left, I learned to walk. I took my first hesitant steps. My mom was confident that the relatives would get to see me learn how to walk, and she thought it was cute... all the way up until she realized that I went from barely hesitantly walking to running. Three days later, running after me the whole time, we blew into Chicago. I think it's a funny story, but my mom told it like it was the first in many adventures that I planned to make her really work at being a mother. My ex and I took a trip in October one year from Santa Ana to Flagstaff AZ, one year. We did have sex on the train. And then he told me to put on the long johns we brought with us. I didn't believe him that it would be cold there but it was in fact effing freezing! I quickly forgot about the sex and concentrated on just staying warm! crap! I would like to take the Eurorail someday. Happy HNW! Trains are not that slow compared to both driving and flying. With flying, you have to factor in checking-in and checking-out; and with driving, there is often congestion on the roads.

1. I regularly take short train trips to the city from where I live... (about 20 minutes), long distance train trips are much rarer. 2. I've never had any train trips that have stood out as a favourite... I have endured horror train trips in the company of a drunken psychotic ex-boyfriend. 3.
