VEGETABLES  In the UK, it’s National Vegetarian Week. Organised by the Vegetarian Society, the week is designed to promote vegetarianism. I'm not a vegetarian; I like bacon too much ... and fillet steak, roast beef and lamb cutlets. My favourite vegetarian meal is cauliflower cheese served with fresh bread with lots of butter on! My least favourite vegetarian meal is salad, though I do like the crunch of a cucumber. But I do love vegetables with my meat, whether it’s carrots, peas, broccoli, green beans, parsnips, sweet corn, leeks, spinach, chick peas, cabbage, marrow, broad beans, cauliflower or, of course, potatoes. My two most favourite vegetables are asparagus and Brussels sprouts, the perfect accompaniments to any meat meal. My least favourite vegetables are lettuce, courgettes, mange tout, fennel, aubergines, celeriac, peppers and okra (or ladies'; fingers); and I absolutely detest celery. Are you, or were you, a vegetarian? What are your most favourite and least favourite vegetables?   |

Hi, i don't think i could ever become a veggie i love my meat to much but i do enjoy them with meat.I do enjoy asparagus and corn on the cob.

I like to grow veggies.. I am growing right now several different kinds of zucchini, beans, hot peppers, tomatoes, cucumber and chard. So my favourite are Brussels sprouts and asparagus but I am not growing these. Asparagus I found takes too long to grow.. First year you get nothing and second you might see something. My favorite vegetable is asparagus...I do not like tomatoes or spinach   I have never been a vegetarian but during Advent and Lent, I can master dishes made from soy meat (I call it phony baloney)  I wish I could call my self a :

I could never ever give up steak or bacon. I adore virtually all veg except yams An orgasm a day , makes you so much happier at work and play

I like my meat far too much ever to be a vegetarian....though I like veggies too and I can't think of any I don't like. My favourite veggies are green beans...the little ones...mangetous and mushrooms. ~~Anais Nin~~

Most favourite (in no particular order) : potatoes, broccoli, carrots, corn, peas, beans, capsicum, cucumber, beetroot, pumpkin, cabbage... I also love chickpeas and lentils. Most dislike (in no particular order) : Brussels sprouts, asparagus, cauliflower, chokoes, artichokes, radishes (they might be bulbs like onions and garlic that I actually love, not veg), turnips, parsnips, leeks, gherkins and aubergines (also called eggplants).

I also grew up on a farm which is why I don't like salad, because that was all I ate in the Summer.

I also absolutely hate zucchini and celery... Does mystelle realise that tomatoes are fruits, not vegetables??? I though everyone knew that.

I think you're very right about looking back and seeing humans eating other animals as very strange and offensive. All fish are cunts!

Have you realised that your two favourite vegetables, when eaten together (if one asparagus spear and two Brussels sprouts) looks like a miniaturised version of the Jolly Green Giant's genitals???

..I have always loved vegetables...grill them..saute them...bake them....use them to play with with... but then again I love soft shell crabs...German sausages....and porter house steaks... ..and I love pie.... Blue....
