BLACK HAWK DOWN


From yesterday morning until this morning for about 24 hours, I was unable to get onto the Affairlook site. I could get on any other website I wanted, but not Affairlook. I wonder whether the whole site went down or whether it was just my computer banning me from Affairlook.

Did Affairlook go down yesterday?
Does the site ever go down?

 I'm in the same time zone as you and whilst I was too busy to be here during the day I was on the site from about 7 pm last night till I went to bed so I don't think the site was down. Sometimes though it can be incredibly slow.

I usually use Chrome as my browser but if I'm making bling I use IE (cos Chrome doesn't do big bling well) I have sometimes found that I can log in through Chrome but not IE....could have been a browser problem.

I also find that occasionally I can't log in through A.F.F. or Pa$$ion....but can get in through H.otmatch.

You weren't temporarily banned were you??

 I had big time problems accessing this site for about 18 hours. . .

 I never had a problem with this site yesterday, but I have had intermittent problems for short periods of time when it says server cannot access.

 I never had a problem yesterday but talking to a few folks they said it was down for over 14 hours. I would guess it was a server problem why you couldn't get on in your area.. they now owe you two week free membership for your gold.. I would give them a call.. hugs V

I do, and I remember Firefox doing a major update about this time. Just a wild shot. lol Most likely this site is just screwy.

Thanks for this possible explanation. Though I sometimes use Firefox at work, I don't at home which is where I do my dastardly deeds on Affairlook.

I'm not aware of being temporarily banned by Affairlook. Given their level of competence, I suspect I may not even know if I was banned from the site!
I use Internet Explorer as my browser which I know is not the best.

I'll just put it down to a glitch, whether a browser or site glitch. I'm not too good with IT when things go wrong.

Getting in touch with the site is not so easy in the UK. You either mail and they send you round the houses or you phone them and foot a big transAtlantic phone bill.
