THE QUEEN IS DEAD  Reuters news agency has just posted this news story: Buckingham Palace confirm that Queen Elizabeth II has died BY EMMANUEL JARRY LONDON Tues Apr 1, 2014 5.47am BST (Reuters) – Buckingham Palace has confirmed in a press release that Queen Elizabeth II has died in a road traffic accident in London’s Blackwall Tunnel in the early hours of this morning. Emergency services were called out after the accident but three people in the car - the Queen, her Lady-in-Waiting and the chauffeur - were all pronounced dead on the scene of the accident. The rest of the Royal Family has been informed and Prince Charles has announced, “I am ready to do my duty and serve my country”. There is already much speculation comparing this accident with that of Princess Diana’s fatal accident in Paris, but Buckingham Palace refused to comment on this speculation, stressing that “this is the time for the country to unite in its grief”.
