A BLOGGERS BASH IS PLANNED  Following an earlier post, [blog SensSensibility] and I have had intense discussions about organising a bloggers bash in Europe, open to all bloggers worldwide. It would be great to meet up with fellow bloggers - see also [post 3362910]. To get things going, it would be useful to know who would be potentially interested in attending this bloggers bash one weekend. Obviously, it all depends when it’s held, where it’s held and who’s going. Please let us know if you (and partner if not single) would be interested in attending a weekend bash. If so, what weekends (or months) are good for you? Also, please let us know where you’d like the bash to be held. Berlin has been mentioned for the 21 June weekend. Other possible locations are Amsterdam, Barcelona, Brussels, Copenhagen, Dublin, Edinburgh, London, Paris, Rome, etc. If interesting, where would you like to meet up and how far are you prepared to travel? Finally, what sort of things would you like to happen at a bloggers bash? How organised or unorganised would you like a bash? Any advice would be most welcome. I’ve searched far and wide for potential venues for a bloggers bash and have found five suitable hotels – see photos above and below. How interested would you be attending a bloggers bash in Europe? If interested, when and where would you like the bash to take place? Do you have any advice for us in organising a bloggers bash? If you had to stay in one of the five hotels pictured, which one would you check-in to? I quite fancy Big Dick’s Halfway Inn but, as my dick can only go quarter-in, I’ve been banned from this establishment. Only joking! I’d check-in to Dick’s All the Way Inn with rooms still vacant! Is it possible to be interested but not able to go??  I thought Dick's was in North America?  must be a "chain"!!I think they took away your photo because it had phone numbers on it!

I'm afraid there's not enough of us to go ahead with the bash. There were less than a handful interested and that's even before deciding the location and date. But thanks for your interest; perhaps there'll be more interest another time.

Regrettably Europe would be impossible for me... Not only could I not save that sort of money over the next few months but I have no passport and getting one at the moment would be a costly and convoluted exercise. My only hope of attending a blogger's bash would be in any state of Australia unless I win the lottery, then I'd be happy to pay for a few extra folks to be able to attend whose only impediment was affording it. Hopefully, there will be a blogger's bash in Australia within the next 12 months and I will definitely attend but will have to save like a mother.

I think a very long weekend spending one night at each of these fine establishments would make for a great bash!

The Scottish Highlands.....kilts might be fun... I organized an event for 500 of my associates in Hawaii..it took 18 months of planning.... blue... We've spent a week planning a bash and we've called a halt already!
