NAKED COCK IN A LIBRARY ON A WEDNESDAY

Above is a photograph of what I imagine is going to happen to me whenever I visit a library! Libraries are sexy places.

Last year, there was a surge of borrowing of erotic fiction books from libraries in the UK; there was a 500 per cent increase in erotic fiction lending compared to the previous year. Last year’s most borrowed erotic fiction book was Indigo Bloom's Destined to Feel, which was borrowed nearly 11,700 times; the previous year’s most borrowed erotic fiction book was Laurell K Hamilton’s Divine Misdemeanours, borrowed only 1,500 times.

The surge is partly credited to the increased number of automated library checkouts so library users are less embarrassed about borrowing erotic fiction books. But the surge is undoubtedly explained by E L James’ bestselling novel, Fifty Shades of Grey, which brought erotic fiction to a mainstream readership. However, her book does not appear in the list of most borrowed erotic fiction titles as, strangely, it is classified as romance. However, the original Fifty Shades of Grey book was the third most popular title of all books borrowed from libraries last year.

Professor Jan Tytgat, a toxicologist from the Catholic University of Leuven in Belgium, tested the most borrowed books from Antwerp’s libraries. He revealed that a library copy of Fifty Shades of Grey tested positive for cocaine and the herpes virus.

Fifty Shades of Grey is being adapted into a film directed by Sam Taylor-Wood. Christian Grey will be played by the actor Jamie Dornan after Charlie Hunnam turned down the role; and Anastasia Steele will be played by the actress Dakota Johnson, the of Miami Vice’s Don Johnson.

Do you read erotic fiction?
What was the last book you read?
Do you intend to see the Fifty Shades of Grey film when it’s released next year?

1. Short stories yes, it needs to be well written and plausible.
2. Some SciFi rubbish, I go through books like water sonce buying a tablet last year.
3. Nope, I'd rather stick my head in a barrel full of writhing blood leeches.

Do you read erotic fiction? I do read erotica. Every thing from old dime store paperbacks to literary masters.

What was the last book you read? I finally finished the last book in the Wicked series...A Lion Among Men ...a very painful read. Unfortunately most trilogies start strong and fail miserably by the third installment.
Do you intend to see the Fifty Shades of Grey film when it’s released next year? I will probably see the movie once it is out on DVD. The books made me howl with BDSM lifestyle indignation.

AS I pointed out on my blog for this HNW, the nearest library see me so often, they know me by name. There is one librarian that I would do in the stacks in a red hot heartbeat, he is sexy and well read and cute. Too bad my library is so popular.
Happy HNW!

I don't read much erotic fiction...I don't find it plausible.

A book on Irish Mythology.

I very much doubt if I'll go to see it.

I might allow myself to be persuaded by a female partner-in-crime to go and see the film...

I haven't read the books, but I was given "50 Sheds of Grey" for Christmas

I read the occasional Mills & Boon in my early teens but lost an appetite for that dross.

The last book I read was The Mammoth Book Of True Hauntings, edited by Peter Haining. Now that I have had my cataract surgery completed in my left eye and reading will become a pleasure again instead of a challenge.

Fifty Shades of Gray holds no interest for me as a book or a film.
I used to read my Mum's Mills & Boon books. I enjoyed them.Like you, I won't be watching the Fifty Shades of Grey film when it comes out, nor will I read the book.

Hopefully I can join you in the barrel full of leeches when the Fifty Shades of Grey film comes out.

Nearly everyone I've met who's read Fifty Shades of Grey didn't like the book.

Erotic fiction is often not plausible, but then many other books are not plausible too!

The book I am currently reading is "A Pirate Looks at Fifty", by the singer Jimmy Buffett. I highly recommend any of his books.

You couldn't pay me to watch any movies made from the Fifty Shades of Grey books.

I've not come across that book nor even Jimmy Buffett. I had to look his name up!
