FLOODS HIT BRITAIN
FLOODS HIT BRITAIN Over the last few weeks, parts of Britain have been seriously flooded, particularly in the Somerset Levels whose residents have been flooded since Christmas – see photograph above. As the floods are nearing London, via the River Thames, and threatening thousands of properties (owned by thousands of Tory voters), the army has been called in and the Prime Minister David Cameron has promised unlimited funds to deal with the crisis. Apart from the considerable damage to properties and significant disruption to transport networks, a new threat has just been reported. A Great White Shark was spotted near Cookham in Berkshire, a village very close to the Queen’s Windsor Castle – see photograph below. Army and police snipers have been deployed to patrol all rivers leading to London to prevent sharks reaching the capital city. The BBC is now running regular announcements asking people to stay calm and to stay well away from flooded rivers. The Royal Family have decamped to Balmoral in Scotland, far away from the sighted shark. Have you ever been flooded? Have you ever seen a shark in the wild? |

No flooding for me. Is a shame, all the extremes the world is experiencing with the weather. Stay safe

I personally haven't been flooded, but there was the flood of the century less than a 100 miles north of me in the spring! Virtually an entire town was wiped out. As for a "wild shark", I have never had to borrow money! I hope you are safe from the floods!

1. Without wishing to tempt fate, no. 2. Yes, white tipped reef sharks.

I also live well over sea level perched on a hill overlooking the River Trent.

The UK is an island or an island-and-a-half if you include Northern Ireland, never mind the Isle of Wight, Lidy Island and the Scilly Islands. I am safe from flooding as I live on a hill.

I've only been flooded with cum and never seen a shark other than through the glass roof of an indoor aquarium... It was circling with intent and a double boner. Scary!

Your suspicion is correct. It's a photo-shopped photograph of a river in Greenock up in Scotland.

The end of our street gets flooded a lot during heavy rains and high tides. I have seen sand sharks in the wild but never anything big yet. Stay warm and dry.

I have a friend living in Bexhill, East Sussex. He has been posting the flood and weather reports to FB from all over England. We were in a flood in 1998, two weeks after my son was born. Our town became an island for about a week. We see shark all the time in the sound. My son and husband caught a very tasty white tip shark last summer.
