BEING WHIPPED  I like a bit of spanking, but whipping is a bit too much for me. One of my ex-girlfriends enjoyed being whipped but I always felt a little uncomfortable whipping as hard as she wanted. But my discomfort never stopped me whipping her; she liked the red marks! Being whipped also takes place in politics. Party members serving in a legislature, like the UK Parliament and the US Congress, are often whipped. Each party will often have an official to act as the whip to enforce party discipline, especially to ensure that party members attend a vote and vote for their party. Whips use a combination of carrots and sticks to whip party members. As they have the ear of party leaders, whips play a key role in deciding who gets what political jobs, eg committee membership, ministerial portfolios, etc. Whips keep a record of their party members’ activities, eg how they vote, their business dealings and their sexual affairs - a ‘black book’! If, for example, a whip knows about an extramarital affair of a party member, the whip can use this information to keep that party member loyal with the thinly veiled threat, “it would be a shame if your affair should become public”! The political use of the term, whipping, derives from fox hunting where hounds are whipped into line in hunting the fox. Do you enjoy flagellation? Have you been whipped? Have you whipped someone? T did it, never used a bull whip though, they can inflict a lot of damage and pain and need a lot of skill and practice. more than we are interested in. no black book Not really interested in politics as they all sound they same.. Whips on no whips they are all bent by default it makes no odds, it's the nature of the game. A compelling post though
