BREAKFAST


I’ve just got back in from having a breakfast in town – bacon, sausages, fried egg, mushrooms, grilled tomato, black pudding and toast, plus coffee. I would have liked hash browns as well, but none were on the menu. I love a fried breakfast. The only thing I don’t like in a fried breakfast is baked beans. I don’t normally have much for breakfast, just coffee and cigarettes, but at weekends I go out for a full English breakfast while on my shopping errands.

Above is a photo of a Coventry man, Dayne Gilbey, who has got a fried breakfast tattooed on his head. A few years ago, he volunteered for this tattoo of bacon, eggs, sausages, baked beans and cutlery. At the time, he said “it's just something different which has never been done before.” The tattooist, who did not charge for the tattoo, commented, "I first had this idea four years ago so I'm glad to have finally found someone brave, or perhaps unhinged, enough to do it.” The tattooist is now looking for a volunteer to have their own face tattooed on the back of their head.

 No tattoos!
When camping, I fry eggs with wither bacon or sausages with hash browns!
At home, I usually have oatmeal or cereal!

 1. a rare treat, but it would include lorne sausage, poached egg, toast, black pud, haggis, beans, and maybe some fried totties.
2. fresh fruit.

Dayne Gilbey is a massive diddy.
Poached, slightly runny, is how I like my eggs done.
