ONE YEAR ON

This day last year, I started blogging regularly. On average, I’ve posted one blog every day.

I like blogging very much; I like posting blogs and commenting on other people’s blogs. In particular, I like the interaction with other bloggers and I like the space it gives me to create something with text and images (no matter how rubbish it may be).

When I first started blogging, I thought it would be easy – ‘just post whatever you like’. After a couple of months, I occasionally got disappointed if no one watched or commented on my blog posts; my existential moment arrived. I questioned myself whether to carry on blogging. Soon after, I realised that there’s no point chasing ratings and ‘just post whatever you like’!

I admit that I still get excited when my blog posts are coloured yellow. If I went a week without yellow, I may have another existential moment. But I hope that doesn’t happen – if it does, I would just pretend to be a single woman and post rate-my-ass pictures or, if really desperate, do-you-want-to-fuck-me pictures!

I would like to thank everyone for reading and commenting on my blog posts. Many thanks, much appreciated!

What do you like about blogs or blogging?
If a blogger, what have you learnt since you started?
If a blogger, have you had an existential moment with blogging and thought of quitting?

I too started blogging about a year ago. My purpose at that time was not as much fun. eventually it evolved to what it is today, I like to think it is a bit sassy, flirty and naughty . I have seen so many different types of blogs, some I like, some I don't. I guess is a matter of finding where you fit it. I most like the sense of community here in "blogland". I have experienced very little animosity and so many are just so supportive it is gratifying

What do you like about blogs or blogging? My blog has evolved from a place where I posted blogs about social commentary of this site to an on line diary. I enjoy reading others blogs and I have met many wonderful people because of blogs.
If a blogger, what have you learnt since you started? Who cares what other people think! LOL
If a blogger, have you had an existential moment with blogging and thought of quitting? Do not take this personally...but...I have been on this site blogging over 6 years. I have noticed a pattern...men are usually the ones who quit blogging and public make statements (usually site lack of comments) with regards to why they should quit. The women who make blog statements about quitting usually site a guy who offended them or the site glitches. Usually these women are drama queens who take every thing personally and are seeking attention. The guys are usually not happy they did not get laid as promised by the site...Just my insight.
Glad you are still here. I enjoy that you challenge the reader to think about your posts.

There is a difference between a good BJ and a bad BJ.

1. It's the interaction with such a variety of interesting people, diversity that you won't find anywhere else.
2. Lots of things - be respectful where it's due but otherwise take the piss, never take things personally, never take things seriously, always consider that the person on the other end is not necessarily what they promote.
3. I did once when I seemed to upset a young lady for no obvious reason, I wasn't even taking the mick out of her. Then I was recently stalked and lay low for a while, but I've never really thought about chucking it in, too many good people, yersel' included!

Congrads. Wow it has been a year since you been on. Time sure does fly doesn't it. I started back blogging a few months ago after being way for a few years. I like to blog to see if my stories will go or not and maybe one day to get a book published.. My dedication will be to all my bloggers! I like to read something new and something different. I try not to blog each day only a few month in order for me to get out there and say hi and comment on others blogs.

I try not to hog the trending board too as I want to see new bloggers getting noticed not like a few on here that just pissed me right off. I have told community many times it isn't fair that one person can have 4-6 threads running on trending while others can't even get on. Oh well all said and done no one ever listens either.. I love your blog always interesting material and different perspective from another part of the world too. hugs V

Happy blogaversary!

I've been blogging here for about three and a half years. I like all the different types of blogs people post here on Affairlook. It really is a unique blogging platform, even if it has it's drawbacks and glitches.

I think about quitting all the time. But I think I'd have to ween myself down first. I've met some truly wonderful people through blogging!

Read my diary Journal of a Taxi Driver for taxi stories and pictures of flowers and trees.

What I love about blogging is sharing thoughts, feelings and ideas...

Since I've started blogging, I've learned that some people will appreciate what you contribute and others won't and that you can't let the ones that don't get to you.

So far, I haven't had any moments when I've thought of quitting but I suspect they will come in time.

Happy Blogiversary, spunky and thank you for being a blogger worth watching *hugs*
Many thanks. You can never please everyone all of the time. I love cliches!
