THE LIBRARIAN

Above is Sleepy Weasel's The Librarian photograph.

A man walks into a library and asks the librarian, "Do you have any books on shelves?"!

Do you use a library?
What types of books do you like reading?
Who is your favourite author?
What is your favourite book?

I use the library a lot, mainly to borrow books on politics that I like reading. My fabourite author is George Orwell, especially Animal Farm, Keep the Aspidistra Flying and Homage to Catalonia.

I am lucky, have a library very close. I use it about once weekly. Usually is a place I can pop in and have a very quiet hour or so to just read periodicals and newspapers.

I haven't visited a library in a long time, and I no longer carry an active "card".

Off the top of my head, my favorite writers are King, Koontz and Grisham. (But there are many others. Especially in the 30's-60's sci-fi genera.)

Read my diary Journal of a Taxi Driver for taxi stories and pictures of flowers and trees.

I haven't had a library card for years!
Last "book" I read was "Master of the Game" by Sidney Sheldon.
I don't have a "favorite" book or author!

I have a library close to where I work, which is the one I use.

I particularly enjoyed John Grisham's The Pelican Brief.

    Err-herr, that joke was hilarious.

I'm not really a library person... If I want to read a book badly enough, I'll buy it so I can read it at my own pace... No return-by date

My favourite authors are Agatha Christie and Arthur Conan Doyle... I have also read a fair bit of Jackie Collins

My favourite book is Circle Of Pearls by Rosalind Laker... I also like books on Eastern and Western Astrology as well as numerology, human physiology, law and architecture
I read a lot of Agatha Christie when I was younger. I tend not to read much fiction now.

I have actually been a librarian.
I would love to be a librarian; I used to teach librarians on a course I ran.

Thanks for your post. I used to like reading a good detective novel but tend to read non-fiction now.

Libraries are sexy places; it's not the books but the people and the quietness.
