THE BLUE PILL  Launched in 1998 by Pfizer, Viagra is the fasting selling drug in history. Viagra - sildenafil citrate - is prescribed for erectile dysfunction. Sildenafil citrate, as Revatio, is also prescribed for pulmonary arterial hypertension. Viagra works by dilating blood vessels. When taken before having sex, more blood flows into the penis making it more erect. Viagra does not enhance the desire to have sex. Egypt approved Viagra for sale in 2002, but soon afterwards allowed local companies to produce generic versions of the drug because poor people could not afford to buy Viagra. Yes I have used it often. Only had the side effects the first few times I took it. It is particularly useful for me, because of illness, I need to take breaks and rest during sex, but i keep the erection. Thanks for your interesting comment. I also wonder about the psychological dependence on Viagra, in that thinking that you can't have sex without popping a pill just increases your reliance on the pill.
