A CAR AND A WOMAN

Apart from driving on a road, I can do the following ten things with a car: check and top-up oil; check and put air in tyres; change a tyre; top-up screenwash; add water to the radiator; add antifreeze to the radiator; clean a car; fill up with fuel; drive to the car wash; and drive a car to a garage to get the car fixed. And I can reset the clock when it's British Summer Time. Does that make it 11 things?

I am no mechanic! I once broke down in the middle of the night and had to phone my Dad to rescue me, because I couldn’t even open the bonnet of the car. My Dad was not impressed. I’m also not very interested in cars provided that they get from A to B without breaking down.

Are you handy with a car?
Can you do more than ten things with a car? If so, what can you do?
Do you like cars?
What was your first car?
What car do you drive now?

My first car was a Ford Anglia. I’ve also had a Hillman, a Saab 96, a Peugeot 205 and a Fiat Punto car. I don’t drive a car now.

The first car I "owned" was a Ford custom 2 door..bought from my Dad!
First car I bought from dealer was a "new" Ford Cortina (a piece of crap)
I own 2 trucks: a 1/2 ton and a 3/4 ton (for pulling trailer)
I also have a 1979 Ford van in the back yard that hasn't been driven for 5 years. I had a Chev Camero before I bought my 1/2 ton.
I can do all 11 things you can do plus replace batteries and alternators, put on mirror extensions when pulling trailer. When it comes to the actual mechanics of the vehicle, I let the mechanics deal with it.

Compared to me, you are very handy with a car!
