CROSSFIRE

I’ve just read a newspaper article about Sylvia Day’s new ‘erotic romance’ books. She has just signed an eight-figure deal for the next books in her Crossfire series of adult novels This is far more than Bill Clinton, JK Rowling or EL James received for their books.

So far, Reflected On You, Entwined With You, and Bared To You have been published in the Crossfire series. I wonder what’ll be next; presumably, it'll be the preposition!

On being asked about Fifty Shades of Grey, Sylvia Day called Erica Leonard, aka EL James, an amateur. She said “I’m a professional writer. I’ve been doing this for ten years. Fifty Shades was something she wrote for fun in her free time.... You are comparing someone who is dabbling versus someone who writes professionally.” Ouch! Sylvia Day’s first romance novel was written in her free time. She can now draft a book in a month. Who is now missing Barbara Cartland?

Have you heard of Sylvia Day?
If so, have you read her Crosswire books?
Are they better than the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy?
Do you read romance books

I used to read some of my Mum's Mills & Boon books.

I read all kinds of books. I read the 50 Shades books and hated them. They were melodramatic, the hero was a whiney ass and the BDSM was laughable.
I have not read any of Sylvia Day's books. I will have to check them out.

There is a difference between a good BJ and a bad BJ.
