THE NAKED RAMBLER

Above is a photo of the world’s largest number of people posing naked for a photograph. In 2007, this photo was taken by the American photographer, Spencer Tunick, of 18,000 people gathered together in Mexico in 2007. The previous world record was a photograph, taken in 2003, of 7,000 naked people in Barcelona.

In the UK, the former Royal Marine Stephen Gough is known as the Naked Rambler. He has been recently jailed for 11 months for breaking a court order banning him from appearing naked in public. Stephen Gough was not allowed in court for his trial in Southampton because he refused to put on any clothes. The court took 10 minutes to convict him for breaching an antisocial behaviour order (ASB0), requiring him to cover his genitalia and buttocks when he appeared in public, apart from in changing rooms, on nudist beaches and during medical examinations.

So far, the former soldier has been convicted 28 times for 46 offences; he has been sentenced to more than six years in prison in total. His defence has always been that he has a right to go naked in public as, in his words, “The human body isn't offensive”. In 2008, on being released from prison, he was immediately arrested for leaving the prison naked! In two court cases in 2009 and 2010, he appeared in the court’s dock naked!

Should the right to go naked be a legal right?
If asked, would you appear in a photograph of naked people?
Have you appeared naked in public?
Do you sleep naked?

1. I think it should be a legal right, but never in front of children!
2. I would have to think about it
3. NO!
4. Yes, most of the time!

Should the right to go naked be a legal right? Nudist colonies go naked all the time, children included. There is nothing perverted about it. Its a preference.

If asked, would you appear in a photograph of naked people? No I am fat and happy as I am but photograph horribly even in clothes.

Have you appeared naked in public? No that I remember...
Do you sleep naked?Yes

There is a difference between a good BJ and a bad BJ.

Should the right to go naked be a legal right? YES I DO! Nudism is only taboo here in the US because we make it so. Having lived in Europe for several years I found it's much more accepted generally speaking. We as a nudist family have lived pretty much in the buff 24/7 since my wife and I have been married (excluding work / shopping and so forth) and our children now 22, 24 and 25 all turned out fantastic with no ill effects as other would want you to believe!

If asked, would you appear in a photograph of naked people? In a heartbeat.

Have you appeared naked in public? Several times!

Do you sleep naked? Always!

Should the right to go naked be a legal right? Yes, I strongly believe that nude beaches should be legislated, as a "right".

If asked, would you appear in a photograph of naked people? I HAVE, but it was only published in a nudist publication, and I was not identified - I was in a large group celebrating "World Record Skinny Dip". (An initiative of the American Association for Nude Recreation (AANR)

Have you appeared naked in public? Yes, at nudist resorts, and swing clubs (which I don't consider "public" because they were private member events. Also at "approved" nude beaches.

Do you sleep naked? Yes, almost all the time.

Check out my profile or and become a "watcher" of my blog FMAOPLS,to learn more about me, and for intelligent, lively, smartassy and fun discussion, with a little irreverence thrown in. "Like" or comment on my photos, and I promise I'll add more. Thanks.

***Should the right to go naked be a legal right?
I can understand why it might be a bit of a shock to some people if others were to start walking around the streets naked, but I think that society should definitely be heading towards freedom of choice in this regard.
My husband and I (when we were together and after we divorced) were often naked around the house, and our two sons (now 23 and 25) who lived mostly with me have always seen me naked. They still do now if they arrive unexpectedly. I believe it is important for families to be comfortable with each other being naked, and would never imagine bringing children up any other way. We have never been a family to close doors when getting dressed etc, and that is something I don't understand at all.

***If asked, would you appear in a photograph of naked people?
Absolutely.
However, because I am fat and don't look too great without clothes, I would rather it was a large group photo so my face wasn't clearly visible. lol

***Have you appeared naked in public?
Only at a nudist beach ... not walking down the main street of town. lol

***Do you sleep naked?
Always, unless I am freezing cold.

    3. NO!
    4. Yes, most of the time!
I went to a nudist resort last year - it was an interesting experience, especially shopping, but after a while I forgot I was naked.

I think it should be a legal right but not in the presence of children under legal age. 2 It would depend upon what kind of photo and with whom 3 no 4 yes!
There seems to be a lot of artists organising photo shoots of naked people.

Last year, I went to a nudist resort. At first, I felt a little awkward with children around but, after a couple of days, it felt very natural.

I agree with your comments. Being naked should not be taboo!

I don't know I would have to give it a lot of thought!
If asked, would you appear in a photograph of naked people?
A nude beach or nudist colony yes but in public no.
Have you appeared naked in public?
    No.
    Do you sleep naked?
When it's hot in the summer months yes!
I sleep naked all year round unless it's absolutely freezing or I'm too drunk to take off my clothes!
