SUN-WORSHIPPERS AND PLANE-SPOTTERS UNITE!


Above is Maho beach on the Dutch-owned Caribbean island of Saint Maarten. The airport is next to the beach, the perfect holiday destination for both sun-worshippers and plane-spotters! There are signs on the beach warning tourists of possible jet blast injuries.

Where has been your best holiday?
And where has been your worst holiday?
What is your dream holiday for the future?
Are you planning a holiday this year?

My best holidays are city holidays, especially New York and Amsterdam, though I’ve very much enjoyed holidays in The Gambia and Mexico. The place where I’ll never go again is Dubai. My dream future holidays involve the Amazon, Rwanda and New Zealand – one day!

 Where has been your best holiday? Right here at home.
And where has been your worst holiday? A cruise to Vancouver. I loved Vancouver but the cruise, not so much.
What is your dream holiday for the future? A place where the water is so blue it looks like the sky never ends, the breeze is light and the peace is abundant.
Are you planning a holiday this year? Yes, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. It's ok because it is free but I think I would rather have gone to the Keys.
There is a difference between a good BJ and a bad BJ.

 1. Colombia, for the Feria de Cali.
2. Can't think I've had a 'worst' holiday.
3. Antarctica, then a run up the South American continent back to Cali.
4. Yes, several, holidays are essential.

I've never fancied a cruise holiday, though my parents enjoyed their cruise around the Norwegian fjords.

I would love to go to Antarctica. Also I've always fancied a trip to Greenland.
